What do you blokes reckon about shanno?
Fair dinkum the bloke had a bit of something but he met shane-o at his peak.
He had the right attitude though there was a bit a mongrel in him.the journos didnt bother flying over to veg-o thought he was on a hiding that sarvo.one dunny rat even said the 4x would be on him if shanno won a single round.
Overall a very underrated aussie.

Re: Shannon Taylor
His attitude and drug addiction ruined him. Yes the Mosley fight was too much too soon.Judah Ben Fur wrote:What do you blokes reckon about shanno?

Re: Shannon Taylor
He was a good honest fighter that had very good punching power he fought Mosely for his WBC title when could have easily fought a lesser
World Champ from one of the other 3 belt holder's[WBA/WBO/IBF] because Mosely was a Super Dooper Champion like Taylor said after the fight but he did the manly thing and challenged himself against the best Welterweight Champ on the planet[at the time] and I admired his
commitment to go on after he got plastered against Sugar Shane he even Challenged for more World title's and made some decent money
along the way and some-one with his knowledge could turn out to be a good trainer/manager for some young dreamer's in the near future
if he is still living a drug free life.....I really hope he is on the straight and narrow

^ ^ John Wilkinson in NEW BRITAIN, CT. Founder CCSU Boxing 1980 - 92 ("many awards")
Pro-am: 25(0/11)-27(3/3)-1 w-l-d (Ko's/Rsc/ret pro designate first; Rsc/ret). I was in 17 amateur tournaments. Won 7; 2 Nd 5X & on the out placed faced tournament winner in 4 of the 5. USAREUR & New England Golden Gloves (3X) largest tournaments.
Shannon Taylor always has "nice name". The article about his troubles (?)/I'll read it next. The greater world not aware of those problems.
He made name for himself internationally. He did himself proud. No doubt!
