Did Pascal become mandatory for 1 of Kovalev's belts when he beat Gonzalez? Either way its a bit of a non event,the 1st fight was pretty conclusive so im pretty certain Krusher will do the damage again,maybe even earlier than 1st time seeing as he now knows Pascal can be stopped

Pascal now has Freddie in his corner but that doesnt mean much these days,Roach's success seems to be waining with Pacquiao's

Kovalev KO is highly likely but i have a sneaky feeling Jean might make it to the bell losing a wide UD in the process

Firstly, it's a pointless fight.

Secondly whilst pascal is a bit of a plonker, he's got some balls and has fought everyone. To want to go in with Kovalev twice underlines this. Most don't want anything to do with him (Adonis)

I am still waiting for someone to crack that Kovalev chin actually. His offence is his defence, and he's looked in trouble the rare occasion someone has put it on him. But saying it and doing it are vastly different.

He hits hard, but its his accuracy that catches most of his opponents out.

Kovalev has be a revelation and a sensation, as Don King might say. "Krusher" is a very accurate description for this fighter...in fact I can't remember a fighter that was more suitably named.
I'm no expert on him but it was ridiculous the way he blasted Cleverly in Wales (or somewhere in the UK at any rate). I had Cleverly down as granite beforehand. And many a winner-on-paper has been completely and utterly undone by the Hopkins banana-skin.......I know he was 49 but does anyone think Hopkins was seriously much worse than just a few years earlier? I doubt it.
Never saw the Pascal fight but this Kovalev must be a freakishly, borderline suspicious power-puncher.

What's the story with Stevenson, what happened? Is the guy definitely 100% trying to avoid him? There's about a half-stone weight difference between them I thought. Could that be a factor?

In 2013 Adonis won the WBC light heavy crown with a superb first round KO of Chad Dawson.

2 months later, Kovalev won the WBO strap in Wales, then immediately called for a unification.

HBO were involved but then as it looked to be happening, Al Haymon took Adonis to Showtime to fight Sakio Bika, Tommy Karpency etc.

Meanwhile Sergey added Hopkins scalp and his IBF title to his record.

Last year it looked on then Main Events (kovalev) dramatically pulled out, not sure but think it was maybe not to upset HBO.

Adonis is fighting his own gym mate in his next defense. Says it all. The sad thing is, he may have a chance, as he is a big puncher and we don't know what kovalev's chin is like. I hope Pascal does well, but I don't see the point in this rematch.
