Re: Updating the BOXREC Forum Heavyweight Rankings
I say rank 10, not even because of this fight, but the fight before got ignored as well. Also, except for Anthony Joshua, the 5 boxers above him have showed a far less performance in the past two years.

Re: Updating the BOXREC Forum Heavyweight Rankings
Joseph Parker up to #12, Bergman remains unranked.
Not just because of this fight, but because several others above him (except Joshua) have done little in the past year.

- Joseph Parker to # 8.
Joshua could be ranked just over or under him, but that ain't the request. Both have been underrated for too long here.

Re: Updating the BOXREC Forum Heavyweight Rankings
No change.
Why are people voting him up? He's done nothing, he shouldn't even be ranked.

Which unranked fighters do you think should be above him? Where would you rank him?Horse wrote:No change.

I'd have Cunningham above him.crusader wrote:Which unranked fighters do you think should be above him? Where would you rank him?
I rank Parker at 25th.
Re: Updating the BOXREC Forum Heavyweight Rankings
I can see the rationale for having USS ahead..he's certainly got a stronger resume and I thought he deserved the win over Glazkov.

Re: Updating the BOXREC Forum Heavyweight Rankings
I'd rank him No.10 as those above him have done even less than him. I'd also rate Joshua a notch below that at No.11.
Re: Updating the BOXREC Forum Heavyweight Rankings
Parker to stay at #15.
Beating Bergman has nothing to do with HW top 15 rankings. Parker got in too early anyways :geek2:

Re: Updating the BOXREC Forum Heavyweight Rankings
I think he should probably be 10 but on the basis of beating Jason Bergman he should not go up. So no change
My top 20 would be based on a mixture of what has happened/ likely to happen and recent activity. (Hence kinda Marked Haye down)
1. Tyson Fury
2. Wladmir Klitschko
3. Alexander Povetkin
4. Deontay Wilder
5. Luis Ortiz
6. Anthony Joshua
7. Kubrat Pulev
8. Carlos Takam
9. Bermane Stiverne
10. Joseph Parker
11. Czar Glazkov
12. Bryant Jennings
13. Steve Cunningham
14. Dereck Chisora
15. Malik Scott
16. Arthur Szpilika
17. David Haye
18. Tony Thompson
19. Charles Martin
20. Robert Helenius

Re: Updating the BOXREC Forum Heavyweight Rankings
Except for Stiverne where I'm not impressed by and Cunningham who's a cruiserweight and lost against half Europe I pretty much agree with this list.Lennox wrote:I think he should probably be 10 but on the basis of beating Jason Bergman he should not go up. So no change

Perhaps Haye a little higher since he beated Chisora for example.
I think mine would be:
1. Tyson Fury
2. Wladmir Klitschko
3. Alexander Povetkin
4. Anthony Joshua
5. Luis Ortiz
6. Kubrat Pulev

17. Tony Thompson
18. Charles Martin
19. Robert Helenius
20. Lucas Browne
21. Arnold Gjergjaj
22. Bermaine Stiverne
23. Andy Ruiz Jr
24. Gerald Washington
25. Adrian Granat
I'd also like to mention "Jun Long Zhang", I've never seen him fighting, so I struggle to put him in a place, but looking at his numbers, but he's starting to get seriously impressive, 12 fights, 12 KO's, except for one, all of them within 3 rounds. Even Jason Gavern within three rounds, something Wilder couldn't do for example.

And what about Joseph? People rank him at 12, or 13 on avarage, so he's raising ranks right?jezzamundo wrote:Votes have been tallied, Joshua remains at #15.
