Chisora Warnings for Joshua!

Post by Davidreed »

Chisora is keen & looking forward for European Heavyweight Title which is vacant & Chisora seems to be favorite by some of the experts. But in my view Chisora hadn't confidence in himself that's why he give a statement to sky sports when he was asked that what would he do in the ring against Joshua? In reply he said that “No I would not. The guy is still learning the trade and the craft. He said it himself after fighting Dillian Whyte that he still has loads to learn. He’s right.”
Whats your views is Chisora a right man for European Heavyweight title???

I think chisora is being written off by many fans. His chin hasn't looked great since the Haye fight but when motivated and in shape he is a handful for any heavy weight, I don't believe he is finished I think he may just be getting his second wind.

AJ vChisora imo is a fight where everyone would be expecting AJ to smash a faded fighter to pieces only for chisora to potentially turn up with something to prove and take the kid apart.

Chisora reminds me of moorer abit who also suffered from a "when I can be arsed" attitude, so I think theres more to come from del boy, would love to see him flatten joshua

Won't happen.

He could probably kick David Price's ass though. Chisora vs David Price actually makes sense I figure. Might be a good lead in for Chisora going into the Joshua fight...that is if David Price is even interested in fighting anymore. Not sure if he is or not.

Its most Likely that saying that you could only PROBABLY beat David price is considered an insult in the heavyweight division :TU:

I think Del Boy is starting to get a bit deluded and he hasn't put up a worthwhile performance since Helenius . As other have said Aj would beat him comfortably now .

Chisora vs Arreola would be fun too. They're on about the same level, and serve the same purpose in the division on different sides of the pond. Neither is Top 20 anymore (at least on any respectable rankings), but they'd make for a competitive matchup against each other.

I think chisora has a chance against Joshua. Not a big chance but Joshua is still very raw, I'm not convinced Eddie Hearn has the brains to match Joshua right in boring fights. Boring fights is where Joshua will learn his trade against cagey fighters who know how to spoil.

Chisora is experienced enough to spoil and has a better chance than most.

How many current heavyweights actually fit the bill of being cagey & know how to spoil though? I certainly can't think of many. It genuinely must be quite hard to match Joshua well at this stage.

Yeah it is a gamble I agree but thats what happens when you ko everyone. Hes a victim of his own success. There are plenty fighters who can spoil Joshua, they are all in the top 10 though and cost money! Chisora went the distance with vitali and fury he can do it as well if he boxes to a plan.

Duhaupas can be negative and seems to take a good punch. I suggested him as an opponent right after he beat Charr and still think he'd be a suitable opponent for Joshua, not to mention that it's a good opportunity to outdo Wilder.

He put in a few decent performances since then, notably in defeats to Klischko and Haye. Solid wins over Johnson, Scott, Gerber & Pala.

He looked abysmal against Fury, and seems to always look terrible against these latvian/south american bums.

His performance against Vitali was also pretty worthwhile

I think Chisora is washed up. That style isn't built for longevity. I think Joshua would take him out in 3 or 4 rounds max. He wouldn't last as long as Whyte did.

Chisora cannot beat anyone that is decent.

Okay, Joshua is still raw, but he looks like he has potential & I believe he'd splatter Chisora all over the canvas.

I think Del Boy from a few years ago would have a very decent chance, not now though, easier fight than Whyte IMO.

How many times has he touched down since then? Or even been troubled and wobbled ?

Odd statement which does not seem related to reality. His effort and motivation is awful but no chin issues that I can see

Im just totally sold on the notion that joshua is never going to be world cjampion and he will be long exposed before he reaches a fury, wilder, haye, povetkin level.

Chisora is exactly the kind of man who could do this, basically del is many many levels above a dillian whyte

On paper Chisora is much better than anyone that Joshua has faced so far.

He's not an opponent that should be taken lightly.

I think Whyte would knock Chisora out now personally. The Chisora of years gone by would have been an interesting fight.
