John Ryder v Sergey Khomitsky

Post by Taansend »

What do you think the outcome will be next weekend? Hoping Ryder can pull it off but Khomitsky is a tough bastard.

Does Ryder have the ability to box & mix it up?

Would love it if he won.

Before Ryder was stopped against Blackwell was probably the best I've seen him box. He was boxing well and winning the fight.

It's a tough one to call as Khomitsky's obviously dangerous - just ask Buglioni and Etches. Good fight.

I think all depends on how much Sergei got left he is a world class operator or more gate keeper just infront but Father Time catches up with everyone, it's a big gamble Ryder said his nutrition etc was poor last time so may see an improved Ryder if not sergei as long as he don't get old overnight but he does live eat sleep boxing

the fight against Blackwell was up amongst the best of last year for me , let's hope Ryder has enough but it's a tough ask .

John is a top boxer but I worry how much he takes out himself making the weigh, has he not a particularly big middle so it would be even harder stepping up to super middle
Hope he wins this and gets himself in the picture again, if he loses retire

I like Ryder and can see him coming through some rough patches to win a decision here.
But Khomitsky can bang so it is a vary dangerous fight. I'm looking forward to it.
Looks like another show where the undercard bouts are likely to be more interesting than the main event.

At odds of 7/4 Khomitsky is definitely tempting...

Agree, great fight.

I think Ryder will edge it. If he does get beat, surely it's about time we stopped bringing Khomitsky over!

If he avoids the big punch he wins this fairly wide on points.
But we all know Khomitsky is good at finding that punch in a British ring.
I'd go for Ryder points

I'm sure it's at middle for Ryder's WBA intor

Loses retire, that's a bit strong ain't it.... He's only lost twice and both against good fighters one being World Class.. If he gets beat there's still loads out there he can do in boxing. If he was one of your Boxers Billy would you tell to give up if he lost? He's only 27 and there is some great fights out there for him.

I think Ryder will probably win, but we know how dangerous Khomitsky is at around this level.

Khomitsky lost last time out, didn't he? I fancy Ryder to win this, but obviously needs to be cautious throughout.

I'm taking Sergey Khomitsky for +225 at The Greek Sportsbook. Too good to pass up.

John Ryder gave BJS perhaps on of his closest fights.

But just seems to have lost his way a bit nowadays.

Khomitsky will be tough but I think he's had his days in the UK and Ryder should be cautious and clever enough to box his way to a points win.
