He missed the count.

Its 8, 9 and out.

The boxer is considered down if he is in the act of rising.

Refs don't seem to like counting past 8.

It's not a count of 9, it's a count of 10.

Shame didn't get to end, I had Hibbert up by 2 in a close fight. Great fight. Tommy Martin and JWH both seem real gentleman and sportsmen. That's great value for an undercard match, flew by, really entertaining.

Tommy looks one for the future, he's game enough and fit enough, he needs more experience and a few tricks.

Hibbert is a very decent and classy fellow and looked very strong and composed though Dave Ryan casts a long shadow over him.

Carl Frampton looks like a child stood inbetween Johnny Nelson & Glenn McCrory. I still pick him to beat Quigg tho

Super-bantamweights do have this strange habit of being very short compared to Cruiserweights.

To be fair Badou Jack is probably still the most under-rated champion in this division.

First round to Groves. Doesn't look like Di Luisa has bought much to the table, but it's only round one...
