It should have been an undercard bout though.Neil Gee wrote:There's motivated and not motivated. We saw he is motivated.
Hearn really couldn't find something better to headline? Very poor.

I'm not defending the quality of the fight. I'm just suggesting a positive point!Horse wrote:It should have been an undercard bout though.Neil Gee wrote:There's motivated and not motivated. We saw he is motivated.

Thats a fair assessment I think he will fight De Carolis for the title next to be honest and he will never get a better chance to win the title he cravesRexob wrote:Groves did what he needed to do and looked pretty good.
Well, I didn't think he would be unmotivated anyway, so it was pretty meaningless to me.Neil Gee wrote:I'm not defending the quality of the fight. I'm just suggesting a positive point!
Eubank-Jetta. It was the main event in name only because Groves is a name.I think Kalle picked the oppenent.Overall it was a decent card but there should be better main event for sure.Horse wrote:Can anyone name any worse Sky Sports main events?

They should have picked a better easy comeback opponent for Groves.
He really shouldn't feel the need to drop down this low for an opponent.
It suggests a lack of confidence if anything and makes him look weak.
This guy actually was down for 10.Neil Gee wrote:oh no, not another misjudged count!
That shitfest in Newcastle,I think the main event was an 8 rounder Joshua/Jason Gavern?Horse wrote:Can anyone name any worse Sky Sports main events?

Slightly better than that Groves fight in my opinion.LancashireLoyal wrote:That shitfest in Newcastle,I think the main event was an 8 rounder Joshua/Jason Gavern?
I don't think they are doubting Leon's pedigree, it's just his age, with a professional football career behind him.Horse wrote:Why would people not think that a McKenzie could do something half decent as a boxer?
He is 37, so I guess being a bit cynical makes sense.Neil Gee wrote:I don't think they are doubting Leon's pedigree, it's just his age, with a professional football career behind him.
