Supposedly according to YOU, he turns down Korobov but supposedly made less (By your own ASSumption) fighting Jacobs instead, right??ikorolev wrote:Right, and Quillin turned down career high payday against Korobov by himself. Haymon never turns anything down![]()

So, who cares? You're the only one who does, GGG could've fought Ward but ducked out of the contract offer within a half an hour.ikorolev wrote:He could have fought Korobov AND Jacobs.
Are you going to carry on making posts about that or are you going to provide more excuses? <<<(rhetorical question)

I see, you are not mature enough to concentrate on the topic. Your hate to GGG just bursts outside.Undefeated49-0 wrote:So, who cares? The topic was that Beterbiev ducked Kovalev due to Haymon. Arthur is a Chechen, and those guys aren't afraid of anybody.
Re: Kovalev vs Bertebiev (nobody wants to see boring Ward)
I do...................Who wants to see Kovalev fight some-one with just 9 pro fight's under his belt and those 9 opponent's have a combined record of 155 win's-95 losse's-6 draw's that's better then a lot of fighter's with 9 pro fight's Cloud and Campillo are great wins but both have seen better day's and that's fair because if you had only 9 fight's and you have already beatin 2 legit former World Champ's you must be going places [He AB went to 2 Olympics without winning a Gold Medal] if he did that would give him a leg up even one Gold or even a silver Beterbiev as never been past 7 round's what happens if he gets Knocked cold by Kovalev because his stamina cannot handle the rigors of the pro game maybe in another 10 or so fight's he'll be in a position that he'll demand his shot
in Ward we have a fighter who as never lost a fight Amateur or Pro since he was a 12 year old kid in 1996 THAT WAS and he cleaned up the very best Super Middleweight's around and he is the Mount Everest Kovalev needs right now

Where's the hate? I simply used him as an example to which you came back crying like a little girl in defense of your hero.ikorolev wrote:Undefeated49-0 wrote:I see, you are not mature enough to concentrate on the topic. An example of what ? We were talking about potential legitimate title fights between fighters of the same weight class (Kovalev vs Beterbiev and Quillin vs Korobov), and your example is about a LHW calling out a MW. With your IQ, you shouldn't open your mouth too often.Undefeated49-0 wrote:Where's the hate? Re: Kovalev vs Bertebiev (nobody wants to see boring Ward)
So you've actually measured my IQ, wow I did know you were such a Scientist. Since your memory recall is so short (and you have the nerves to mention what you think of my IQ) then you should go back and look how you suggested that Quillen should've fought Korobov and Jacobs and as a comparison I mentioned that GGG should've fought Ward.ikorolev wrote:An example of what ? So get over yourself and your defense of your god GGG, it was a simple comparison in light of your idiotic suggestion that Q fight both Korobov and Jacobs while simply giving Golovkin a pass for not even facing one man in Ward.
Re: Kovalev vs Bertebiev (nobody wants to see boring Ward)
I don't think Kovalev is capable of producing a boring fight. This isn't a Super Middleweight we are talking about here and Ward will not have the benefit of being a larger boxer in the ring. Kovalev has a style that forces the other boxer to fight. He doesn't give in to the clinch easily and if anything, I can see this fight getting really chippy and a bit sloppy but it's definitely going to be a great fight.
Not sure why anyone wouldn't want to see this one. Probably the same people that are upset about Canelo vs. Khan announcement yesterday. These are great fights and I'm pumped.

No way will Kov produce a boring fight, dude is a Beast who continues to come forward looking to land big shots and finish his opponents. The only way that he would look boring is if there was a fighter that was capable of shutting him out totally, I continue to see improvement in him so I highly doubt there will be anyone around who is capable of shutting him out.caldo2025 wrote:I don't think Kovalev is capable of producing a boring fight. Check the replay Page hit him with his forearmLancenix wrote:The only chink in the armor I have seen from Artur is when Jeff Page floored him and hit him a little more regularly than I thought he would. Artur dispatched of some names though and dominated them badly. Especially in his first 10 fights or so of his career.

We agree again? This is getting silly now. LOL. I was very surprised to see that Kovalev is finally getting some P4P credit. Did you see that ESPN moved him up to #3 on their list? I think he's #2 or #1 personally but i'm glad that he's finally getting the credit that he deserves.Undefeated49-0 wrote:No way will Kov produce a boring fight, dude is a Beast who continues to come forward looking to land big shots and finish his opponents. Here's a question for you...I completely agree that we see improvement with every round he puts in the bank, how much better do you think this guy can get? It's scary to think that it's very possible that we've only scratch the surface of his ability in the ring.
Re: Kovalev vs Bertebiev (nobody wants to see boring Ward)
I agree with many people on here, Beterbiev needs a bit more time.
I wonder if Kovalev would ever consider going to Cruiser?

We mostly only disagree on Floyd vs Manny stuff but that's been beaten to death already. I think as long as he's with JDJ then the sky's the limit how far he can go, put it like this; he can't lose anything.caldo2025 wrote:We agree again? This is getting silly now. LOL.
