I'd actually give Price much more of a chance with Fury than I would Haye, Wilder or Joshua. I don't think Fury would blast Price out early and with Price's huge right hand he'd be an ever present danger whilst he was still standing. The other 3 would almost certainly KO Price within a couple of rounds.

Are the two Thompson and Teper fights all being changed to NC with the relevant boxing boards? If so he will technically be an unbeaten fighter again so would that mean he would regain a higher ranking with the EBU, world governing bodies etc?

Don't know. They should be though. That said, if Price wants to continue and reach the highest levels, he's going to have to get his head around the fact he's going to have to chin a few drug users, and take what they throw at him, along the way.

He really needs to improve his jab (amongst other things), should be a lot better considering his size. Was virtually non existent in his second fight with Thompson.

I hope he does improve, comes across as a decent bloke and anyone who can knock down Thompson must have decent power and punchers chance...if someone can assist him with his defence to cover his weak chin then potentially he still has talent to be top 10, although I think he will always be found out at the elite level.

The UK scene is shaping up nicely this year.

If i was Price i'd come back here, have two small hall low-key ko's over AJ Carter and then Richard Towers.

Then he'd be in the mix for a domestic superfight with anyone from Haye, Joshua, Hughie Fury.

Exactly what I was thinking, no point for him to be hiding overseas anymore - the experiment failed. Get back over here & make some proper money while he still can.

Thompson was popped for a medication for high blood pressure and he didnt get the documents over to the British board in time. That's ignoring the fact that he had already knocked Price the fornicate out in the first fight.

His footwork as much as anything (alongside his non existent jab) is a huge problem. His feet are slow as hell.

I like price he seems a nice guy, he's seriously flawed though which will forever hinder him but I always find guys like price quite inspiring, they know along with everyone else that they haven't got the required tools for the job but because they love the sport they keep trying because they know that one night with sheer will and a bit of luck they just might be able to pull it off

Pricey is apparently training at Joe Gallaghers gym ready for an outing on the Callum Smith undercard on April 2nd.
Hopefully Price can work under Gallagher and line himself up for Haye at some point in the near future.
We all know how well Shane McGuigan and Gallagher get along...
