Lennox would fare a little bit better than Holyfield, Tyson, or Bowe would. All of them would suck ass.

Impossible to say because nobody knows what kind of physical condition he is in. Why does it matter?

i'd like to see them fight each other, though, even in 5 round exhibitions with headgear.
you could put that on ppv and it might make money, maybe even add ruddock, vitali,
buster douglas, frank bruno and do one of those prizefighter tournaments, senior version.

Sure, and let's see a chubby 59 year-old Carrie Fischer model in her gold bikini from Return of the Jedi too while we're at it.

At this very moment Monsour since he broke his jaw last week and perhaps Arreola, since even Stiverne could do it, but he won't come close near the top.

I figure he could probably beat someone like Arreola, but why would he even bother?

like as a ring card girl? if she would do it, it might draw more attention to the spectacle,
especially if she went out jogging for like 6 months beforehand and came out looking
half decent. probably more apropos is you picked someone who was big around 1990
or so, like salma hayek or tia carrere, so we have the era right

I tried to put together a senior prize fighter with 8 fighters about 10 years ago but the TV companies were frightened of someone getting hurt, couple of fighters were quite interested, but some talked silly money and that was the real problem nobody could afford to front it. It became a £2,000,000 gamble if you wanted the better older fighters with a possible nasty upside.

Lewis said after the Vitali fight his skills were fading and that he thought he would get beaten next time and that was years ago.

pretty sure they've all faded a lot since their contender days, but they'd be fighting each other over only
a few rounds, maybe even with head gear and bigger gloves and a qicker trigger ref and catscans beforehand.
there might be a safe format that would be a night's entertainment for fans, especially if you threw in some
nostalgia from the era. make it a flashback night. ppv doesn't have to charge mayweather $$.
you could make money charging $30 if enough people bought it. vegas casinos might host it for free.

After 12 years retirement, and over 50 years of age? I doubt it.

Lennox is well out of the game.

He's wealthy, pushing 51 & has a gaggle of young kids to look after.

There'd be no point in his returning to fight guys who weren't fit to towel him down in between rounds when he was fighting.

I would put money down that Lennox Lewis could beat Charles Martin today. There is no doubt in my mind that even a badly faded Lewis easily beats Martin.

In his prime, Lennox would have KO'd Charles Martin in about 5 seconds. Guys that Lewis KTFO, woud have likely KTFO Charles Martin.
In his prime, Lennox would also flatten Wilder. Quite frankly I dont think Wilder would do any better than Michael Grant did, so Id give Wilder 2 rounds.

Lennox Lewis is 50 he could not beat anyone in the top 100 tomorrow.

You are not understanding the aging process. With some training and getting back into shape, he could fight in a limited form of what he was.

Heavyweights get older later and while there is no fixed formula 35 is about the peak after than fighters get worse, most know when to pack up.

I'm pretty sure everyone is talking about him having at least a few months training before fighting again.

By this logic, Mike Tyson wouldn't have been losing to Danny Williams and Kevin McBride when he was merely 38 years old and still reasonably active. Lennox is 50 and hasn't even fought at all in 12.5 years. Btw, it is more of a handicap to be older and more inactive.

Yep he wouldn't look good at all in all likelihood, and would probably be stopped by Martin. Even in his prime he aint' stopping the guy in 5 seconds. I'm not saying he couldn't stop him, I'm not even saying he couldn't stop him in the 1st round, but I doubt he just comes out and stops the guy in 5 seconds. Lennox Lewis never stopped ANYBODY that quickly.

Most fighters haven't.
