I asked before why the brilliant Gamboa jumped two weights and was told that he wanted to avoid Rigo. Surely he'd have a decent chance at 54kg, he's obviously a great Feather, but he's not a natural Feather. Rigo is fantastic but I think Gamboa has the style, and speed to possibly be better than Rigo??

The cuban National team is a team. Gamboa can't just go and challenge Rigondeaux when there is no point in replacing Rigo as he is simply the best pound for pound boxer in the world. One loss won't change anything.
So Gamboa better go up and try to be the best at feather, which of course isn't easy but maybe ha can do it.
