It must be Haye.

It would be low risk step up in class for the Hayemaker.

What do you think "other" is? Joshua? Ortiz looks busy with Dimitrenko and Ustinov. Joshua is taking his time. Haye would probably have beaten Helenius to the announcement, and I don't think Robert wants to get anywhere near Haye to be honest. I guessed Martin for a fake title.

Dimitrenko pulled out of the fight with Ortiz, both Haye and Joshua are announcing opponents soon so it could be anyone

He has given up the euro strap for a bit of world glory but I still think he knows his limits even with Martin. I reckon say Thompson or even Arreola. I even think Arreola may be too rough house for him. I may be completely wrong about him but watching him against Chisora, he was very lucky to win and Del is average at best. Albeit a lot of bleating about him not being 100% for the fight.

Helenius is a PUSSY. He was supposed to be defending his Euro belt again Chisora (Chisora won their 1st fight), and he was even too scared to fight him again so vacated the belt. Helenius is just a Finnish BUM who only fights in his own backyard against journeyman and European level fighters. That clown has got NO CHANCE of winning a World Title. LOL

He pulled out of the fight because he has bigger plans.

I doubt his opponent will be a top 25 HW.

It will likely be a faded journeyman like Salvatore Erittu or Adnan Redzovic, or perhaps someone with a padded record like Gary Cornish.

I was just thinking that he'd fit the bill for Helenius, though I'm not sure a fight with him would be big news.

Helenius is punch and take a punch. The exact type Haye avoids.

He's on my undefeated HW watch list, but I hope not, it will take me about 2 years to learn how to spell the name. It took me forever to learn how to spell Pacquiao. :witzend:

I can't see it being one of the bigger names like Haye or Joshua or Martin as surely it would be their teams that would be making the announcement rather than Helenius'. And Ortiz is just wishful thinking, surely?

I think what is more likely is that either a) Monday will come and go without any announcement at all or b) it won't be anything we consider to be particularly "big".

He is starting his own promotional company, called "Hammer of Thor Promotions" or whatever, with an unconvincing blurb about seeking to put Finland on the boxing map or something like that. That's my uneducated guess.

Maybe it'll be to announce a fight with fellow undefeated Scandinavian giant Adrian Granat. That would just about count as "big" I think.

For those of you who didn't know already. Helenius got pretty badly screwed by Sauerland when he was boxing for them.
Now guess who Chisora is boxing for? Sauerland...

So there will be no fights involving Helenius and Chisora and fear has nothing to do with that.

Now about the big announcement. Roberts father has said that the opponent is not a southpaw and is over 190cm tall.

My guess is Wach.

If anyone thinks that Haymon will risk the belt by letting Martin fight anyone dangerous outside of his own fighters is totally delusional
