The Christianity thing is obviously fake, Ward just does it for PR purposes.

I think he's really a Christian. I think you just overestimate what it means to be a Christian. Slapping the title Christian on yourself doesn't automatically make you holier than thou or one of the best people in the world.

I figure Ward is a good human being, and wouldn't be hard to get along with for most people from what I gather, but he has a sense of entitlement like he thinks he's the biggest star in the sport that is unrealistic. Especially considering he's done basically jack sh*t the last few years.

“It is literally a different issue every day,” Duva said. “It’s a wonder that these people can put a four-rounder together.”

Christians don't usually hire convicted felons who give PEDs to athletes like Victor Conte, or have thugs like James Prince as their manager.

James Prince sent his goons to beat up Floyd Mayweather, instead they beat up poor old Leonard Ellerbe so bad he was hospitalized. Link: https://pound4poundireland.wordpress.co ... es-prince/

The fundamental belief of Christianity is "do onto others they way you would have them do onto you" yet Ward is an extremely selfish individual who lacks integrity and good sportsmanship in his dealings with others.

These days his Christianity likely hurts him more than helps in terms of pr.

I'm rooting for Sullivan Barrera to somehow beat the selfish prima donna, but the deck will be stacked against him in Ward's hometown of Oakland.

I just hope the California Commission's shady referee Jack Reiss isn't going to be working. He always helps Ward by allowing him to foul, while repeatedly admonishing his opponents for nothing - he's California's version of Texas' Lawrence Cole and the UK's Ian John Lewis.

Hopefully Barrera will make the most of the opportunity and at minimum be competitive so that he gets more opportunities.

You're rooting against Ward?! Nooooo!?

Surprise of the century. Sad days around here for some not being able to hold onto the crutch that Ward never fights anymore. What will they lean on next? Ah hell they'll think of something. Something stupid.

Forgiveness is an important part of being a Christian, one who has repented must be shown the Lords light......... And so forth.....

Don't forget about Ward's knee. It can still swell. If it doesn't, but he doesn't look good against Barrera, it can still swell before the Kovalev fight.

Jesus said "Go forth and sin no more", but Ward still works with James Prince.

Here Victor Conte explains how to cheat by avoiding PED testing at certain times

Are cheating and lying something a Christian would continue to do?

"God hates a lying tongue" - Proverbs

"Be honest in your dealings and be respectful toward all others" - Saint Paul

"He who exalts himself will be humbled, he who humbles himself will be exalted" - Jesus Christ, the REAL Son of God.

Here someone explains how Ward has been cheating with PEDs during his pro career
