Anyway it highlights what a freak Hopkins is that this fight might actually be at least a linttle competitive. People think GGG needs to start getting the big fights before he starts slipping. Hopkins is 18 years his senior and debuted when GGG was 6.

A Promoter could be charged with Attempted Murder for booking a GGG/BHOP fight right now. These comments about this being a good fight are pretty ridiculous. 5 years ago? I'd agree with it being a dandy. But now? Silly talk. Bhop doesn't deserve that. I hope that GGG does find a way to unify these titles quickly though because I finally agree that we'd all be better off with him fishing in a new pond and taking on bigger guys. I think DeGale's style would push GGG as hard as anyone in the 160's.

Why is everyone on this site complaining about Canelo vs Khan right now? Most of these people were pushing for Floyd to fight Khan last year because it would be a great fight but now, somehow Khan against Canelo is a mismatch? Ok, so it's at a higher weight limit that's new to Khan and he will be outweighed considerably. So what? If the fight was at 147, Canelo is still coming into the ring around the same weight he will for a 155 fight.

We've been crying for the Welterweights to start fighting each other for years so what could be bad about Canelo/Khan-Manny/Bradley-Thurman/Porter? Everyone shut up and enjoy it already. Each fight will be super.

Bernard has had a remarkable career & he is obviously the greatest ever 50 year old to box, but he would need to be in in pomp to beat Golovkin & he is no longer in his pomp.

Whilst it's an intriguing fight to see if Hopkins can take GGG the full 12 rounds I would much prefer to see Golovkin fight Lara of teh currently available fighters between 154-168. He will be his first real test to date.

Would like to see Hopkins (if he is adamant about having one more fight) take on the Chudinov Sturm winner. Chance for a world title in the one division he's never really competed in. Plus would have realistic chance of winning.

What age was BHop when "Super Joe" managed a SD against him? What have each done since?

"Super Joe" went on to decision a washed up RJJ and then retire. BHop took on Pavlik in his prime. The rest is history.

BHop's legacy since they fought dwarfs Calslappy's entire body of work.
