Good fight that certainly a step up for Davis, if I wasn't going to Frampton/Quigg I'd be going.Boxingcutsman wrote:Great News We Have Managed To Add The English Super Bantamweight Title To Our Upcoming Show "FIREPOWER" On 27th Feb At

Believe it or not, I was chatting to Jason in Manchester after the Crolla fight and he told me that was that and he wasn't carrying on...(stayed in the same hotel) Money/ loves to fight...not sure but he has been a good ambassador for the sport already and I wish him well.
Him and his friends were lovely to me and the missus and we had a few drinks together
Genuinely wish both lads the best of luck at the respective part of their careers.

It does sound like a good card but won't be able to make this one.
Any news of when Troy might get his British title shot?

Re: English Title 27th February In Birmingham
With all the title fights in the UK on this night, I'm surprised there are enough referees and judges to go around!! English titles have a ref and 3 judges don't they??
Re: English Title 27th February In Birmingham
Hi Thomas,
UKO were commissioned to do the poster but not the PR.
However, because of our relationship with Dean, we set up an interview with BBC Coventry, amended the poster to add Joe Sherriff and have interviewed Troy James as a gesture of goodwill.
We have been commissioned to update poster to include Sean vs. Jason and had planned to speak to Sean and have also invited Chris Keane on to our TV Show fight week.
So 'no' doesn't tell whole story :)
Looks a good show so Dean and John should be very pleased. Nice venue too.

Re: English Title 27th February In Birmingham
I didn't want to go into a long reply about posters, who's doing what jobs, business side etc so just put "NO MATE" as a quick reply has that is the answer regarding are UKO helping with the show in regards to the usual input UKO have and do for shows.UKOBoxing wrote:Hi Thomas,

I would of liked them too and spoke to Errol about it but it wasnt in the budget so that is why UKO aren't doing the PR, hopefully that is a better detailed answer for everyone
We have a good relationship with UKO and they have helped and do help us when ever they can, we appreciate all they have done towards this show and everything they do for us and the lads.
