Is AJ just highly ranked?

Post by Davidreed »

What do you think about Anthony Joshua; Is he had really such skills that he can dominate British Boxing in future or it is just a highly push for him by media & governing bodies? Because as far as I'm analyzing the situation, his camp is not allowing him to have some great fights against some hard punchers in the present time. Will this strategy of AJ camp that wait for the right time for right contest is going to be successful for AJ & British Boxing Scenario?
I want to AJ just like this :bag:

I watched a video on him yesterday and his rise has been meteoric when you think about it.

He had his first amateur fight late 2008/early 2009 and didn't even know there was boxing in the Olympics until 2011 or so. He doesn't appear to have the first clue about boxing history and when he talks about 'learning', he means it, he's a baby. It just so happens that he's a baby with amazing physical gifts and a fighter's heart who has happened to turn up when the quality of the division (amateur and pro) is puddle deep. He's ranked where he is because of that combination of things.

He just KOes everyone in front of him faster as any of them has ever been. This less or more proves he's better as anyone who ever faced his opponends, and his opponends have faced quite some big names actually. In other words, it's fair to say already that AJ is serieus top contender material, he continually overwelms the expectations except against Whyte, but even against him he achieved a better result as anyone over has.

Or in summary you are new to following boxing right?

As he has beaten people faster than others have done, that makes him better? I can see how that sounds right in your head, but it has no reality attached. The opponent may be worn out, still affected by a previous loss, less motivated in the fight with AJ, sometimes it just happens that way.

Floyd only beat Shane Mosley on points while Anthony Mundine KO'd him in 7. I guess that proves Mundine is better Mayweather too right?

By the way - "opponents" has no "d" in it.

That's why I wrote "less or more" but you can at least be sure that AJ is top contender material. Also, Floyd is a good boxer, but he definetly wasn't the best at every moment over those years. He just selected his opponends very carefully and managed to get away with a lot of PEDs and stuff like that.
Because of the money he simply could bribe everyone that wanted to prove him cheating.

There is no "more or less". Beating someone faster than another person does not make you better.

Ok, Muhammad Ali KO'd Karl Midenburger in 12 rounds, wheras Dick Richardson did it in the first round. I guess Dick was better than that bum Ali right?

Come on man, stop trolling, you cannot have meant what you said what was that Fighter A beating Fight B quicker than anyone else means he is better than anyone else Fighter B has ever fought.

Oh come on mate, you ain't such a retard are you? A KO gives you more status as a decision, it's simple as that, it let you gain ranks more easy, it let you gain fame more easy, it let you everything.
Even a win doesn't allways prove you to be the better fighter, but every normal minded person understand that it usually does.

You think I am the retard for not agreeing with this stupid crap you have written. That is priceless and I am ignoring the fact you write like a 5 year old with ADHD

"A KO gives you more status as a decision,' - what the actual fcuk are you talking about? You said this on your original post - "He just KOes everyone in front of him faster as any of them has ever been. This less or more proves he's better as anyone who ever faced his opponends"

Knocking out someone faster proves you are better than the other opponents? So again, on my example above, Dick Richardson is better than Muhammad Ali?

Yea, and Kevin McBride is better as Mike Tyson, Mariusz Wach is better as Kevin McBride, Wladimir Klitschko is better as Mariusz Wach and Ross Puritty is better as any of them. :brick:

So going by this Carlos Zarate is the best boxer of all time (going by what you've said?)
