Wilder Four Rounds Warning to Fury!
Wilder Four Rounds Warning to Fury!
Well you also had heard what the wilder had recently said. I will direct quote his words in which wilder said that “I’m going to knock him out in four rounds or less,”. He's also waiting for the winner of rematch between Fury & Wlad. So what do you think guys; Is wilder over-confident???
Re: Wilder Four Rounds Warning to Fury!
It took him 9 rounds to get rid of Eric Molina, 11 for Johann Duhaupas and another 9 to dispose of Artur Szpilka...all of which are of a considerably lesser quality than Tyson Fury.

Wilder looks like a novice in the majority of his fights and on top of that look at who he has fought, Fury will absolutely box his head off!

He won't even get a chance to fight Fury anytime soon. Povetkin will box his ears off, far better fight.
Re: Wilder Four Rounds Warning to Fury!
one thing that has surprised me about wilder is that he's been able to take fighters out later on in fights recently .most punchers fade later .
i'm looking forward to wilder vs fury i think the build up will the most entertaining i've seen in a long while both guys like to talk it should be fun

He won't last 4 rounds himself, with a decent puncher

You can easely say, all of which are of a considerably lesser quality then some of the opponends Tyson Fury already won against.milpool wrote:It took him 9 rounds to get rid of Eric Molina, 11 for Johann Duhaupas and another 9 to dispose of Artur Szpilka...all of which are of a considerably lesser quality than Tyson Fury.
Hammer at the time, Chisora, twice even, Cunningham at the time, Klitschko, all of them are ranked higher as any of those.
Even Neven Pajkic, and Kevin Johnson were ranked higher as Molina for example.

Wilder will be too scared to face Fury
Re: Wilder Four Rounds Warning to Fury!
Wilder has a good chance of Knocking Fury out! But Fury tactically will know this make the adjustments needed and come on strong after the initial onslaught, taking Wilder out in style later on in the fight.

He is, but he's still ranked far above Szpilka for example.lefty wrote:Hammer's garbage.asdfjkl wrote:You can easely say, all of which are of a considerably lesser quality then some of the opponends Tyson Fury already won against.milpool wrote:It took him 9 rounds to get rid of Eric Molina, 11 for Johann Duhaupas and another 9 to dispose of Artur Szpilka...all of which are of a considerably lesser quality than Tyson Fury.

Re: Wilder Four Rounds Warning to Fury!
Agree. Wilder has the power to knock anyone out but is just so crude. Tysons better skills and tactics would prevail if/when they meet.Rexob wrote:Wilder has a good chance of Knocking Fury out! Re: Wilder Four Rounds Warning to Fury!
Interesting fight that one. Povetkin is by far the better boxer technically and has the power to trouble wilder but it could come down to size. I fancy Povetkin in that one but it'll be interesting to see what tactics Wilder employs. He could use his sheer size and win off the jab maybe stop him late but is he capable of that against someone of Povetkins quality? Not so sure.TBEwasLangford wrote:He won't even get a chance to fight Fury anytime soon. Povetkin will box his ears off, far better fight.
Re: Wilder Four Rounds Warning to Fury!
I agree with this premise. Despite the bad things we say about Wilder he is still getting the job done. He was losing against Szpilka, or at least close to, but found the killer punch. Even against Stiverne, he took some hits. I think despite how ragged and uncoordinated he looks sometimes, he gets the job done. I think until either someone knocks him down, or takes him close through 12 rounds, the jury will always be out.stevedoc wrote:one thing that has surprised me about wilder is that he's been able to take fighters out later on in fights recently .most punchers fade later .

Fury would be the worst possible opponent for Wilder. He's taller, more awkward, and does move incredibly well for his size. That's the fight I really want to see!
Re: Wilder Four Rounds Warning to Fury!
No he's not, and I say that as someone who doesn't think much of Szpilka.asdfjkl wrote:He is, but he's still ranked far above Szpilka for example.lefty wrote:Hammer's garbage.asdfjkl wrote: You can easely say, all of which are of a considerably lesser quality then some of the opponends Tyson Fury already won against.

Just watch the current boxrec ratings, he really is ;)crusader wrote:No he's not, and I say that as someone who doesn't think much of Szpilka.asdfjkl wrote:He is, but he's still ranked far above Szpilka for example.lefty wrote: Hammer's garbage.
Re: Wilder Four Rounds Warning to Fury!
There are 1256 active heavyweights per BoxRec and Hammer is only 6 spots ahead of him; that's not what I consider being 'far' above someone. I think that Artur is a better fighter than Hammer and more valuable name to have on one's record, though of course Fury beat Hammer easily while Wilder had problems with Artur, so considering that I can see someone rating the Hammer win above the Szpilka win.
Re: Wilder Four Rounds Warning to Fury!
I love BoxRec as a site and especially the forum but if you go by that logic then if Khan manages to pip Canelo then he is the worlds best P4P fighter. Lot of wank!asdfjkl wrote:Just watch the current boxrec ratings, he really is ;)crusader wrote:No he's not, and I say that as someone who doesn't think much of Szpilka.asdfjkl wrote: He is, but he's still ranked far above Szpilka for example.
Re: Wilder Four Rounds Warning to Fury!
Knock out Fury in 4? Does he even fight Fury within the next 4 years? Lot of talk from a guy who has fought 1...ONE Top 10 Contender in his entire career.

Re: Wilder Four Rounds Warning to Fury!
Well every way of ranking got flaws, Boxrec got Charles Martin rank 7 or something right now for example, but TBH Hammer really ain't that bad...Stuarty30 wrote:I love BoxRec as a site and especially the forum but if you go by that logic then if Khan manages to pip Canelo then he is the worlds best P4P fighter. He's probably just a little worse as Szpilka but really not that much and he's simply higher ranked, can't change much about that.
Re: Wilder Four Rounds Warning to Fury!
Of course rankings have flaws all you need to do is look at any of the alphabet titles rankings to see how ridiculously different they all are. Sorry mate but Hammer is a total lump of wood IMO.asdfjkl wrote:Well every way of ranking got flaws, Boxrec got Charles Martin rank 7 or something right now for example, but TBH Hammer really ain't that bad...Stuarty30 wrote:I love BoxRec as a site and especially the forum but if you go by that logic then if Khan manages to pip Canelo then he is the worlds best P4P fighter. Re: Wilder Four Rounds Warning to Fury!
The Alphabet Rankings are bought and sold, not even remotely legit.
Re: Wilder Four Rounds Warning to Fury!
Didn't say they were. I was pointing out how ridiculous they are. Could probably start another thread on the 'bought and sold' comment. I'm actually starting to lose interests in titles myself tbh. Like to see guys get some success but there's just so many now they're becoming obsolete to some fans. The Revival wrote:The Alphabet Rankings are bought and sold, not even remotely legit.
