So the first time he popped positive on a drug test Tarver was hit with a one year suspension.
The second offense got him a six month suspension.
His next failed drug test will probably be a three month suspension
Gotta love boxing.
The penalty is a joke. But even funnier is him claiming he is clean and was framed.Perseus wrote:http://www.BS.com/tarvers-susp ... st--101243

Give him a break you say? He is a repeat drug cheat who was extremely lucky to get off with a 6 month suspension. Should have got 1 to 2 years IMO.DA GOOSE wrote:Give him a break he owes 750k in child support and his car is only worth 14k.Perseus wrote:http://www.BS.com/tarvers-susp ... st--101243

He's 47 but could easily pass for someone in their early 30s.
How many suspensions is that man going to serve?
He needs to be banned for life.

The writer of that article is a complete moron.Like a Boss wrote:ANTONIO TARVER AND THE END OF INNOCENCE
Boxing reached a new low this week, and for once it wasn’t Roy Jones, Jr. or Floyd Mayweather leading the charge. It may seem incredible, but in a week which saw Jones offer to fight a fan for a $100,000 prize, Mayweather tour the U.K. and charge £70 for a photo and Manny Pacquiao compare homosexuals with animals, Antonio Tarver somehow managed to outdo them all.
His transgression wasn’t widely reported in the sports media, and it certainly didn’t make the gossip sections of national newspapers, as the ill-judged words of Pacquiao and the naked greed of Mayweather have done. Tarver’s actions may seem a mere sideshow by comparison, but on closer inspection they hint at something profoundly sinister....for continuation click on shortcut below:

Tarver wouldn't need to prove anything if he didn't keep failing drug tests.caldo2025 wrote:The burden of proof is actually on the Boxer that continues to fail drug tests. Tarver claims that he's been set up so the burden is on him to prove that claim, not the other way around. When a 47 year old struts back into the ring with 40 extra pounds and starts knocking people out, i'm testing that guy more than some other ones. Especially knowing he's been nabbed before. He's not fooling anyone.. The guy's an absolute idiot. I hope he's walking everywhere or peddling a bike right now.
I find it hilarious that Tarver cried about this being a set up and planted both times. Like anyone would go out of their way to do that against him of all people. Try to find someone who cares that much about this guy to do something like this and I'd be impressed. There's no chance in today's testing and verification process of this being incorrect but Tarver is dumb enough to fight his case this way. And the fact that he's been caught with Synthetic Steroids is even more damning because we know Tarver is too broke to be buying REAL steroids. It's like buying store branded Coke-A-Cola called Coak-A-Cola.Perseus wrote:Tarver wouldn't need to prove anything if he didn't keep failing drug tests.caldo2025 wrote:The burden of proof is actually on the Boxer that continues to fail drug tests. Same as any other boxer that gets caught.
You don't fail a drug test, you have nothing to worry about.
As long as the media doesn't uncover anything that exposes you but the media is too busy hunting down cheating baseball players(in America anyway).
