don't know which fans your talking about, we (the brits) don't call him out because we don't care all we are interested in is seeing good fights, if the good fights don't happen then they don't happen, khans fought some good fighters and is usually in good fights and yes he has wasted a lot of time trying to secure big fights but its his career and he can do as he pleases, im not really into slagging off boxers they've got a hard enough job as it is without being judged by a load of keyboard warriors that have never laced them up, and in terms of brit fan bias I think your confusing the casual fan with dedicated boxing fans

I am British fella and calling him on it. To concur though yes he needed to earn the right and avenge his losses or fight the Porters of this world before getting Floyd. The fact that he has swerved Kell too says a lot. He would lose and career over. Instead he will lose to Canelo but can carry on as he is not expected to win and everyone will pat him on the back for trying. Win win for Khan, assuming Canelo doesn't hurt him too badly, which he may do I suppose.

Khan gets called out regularly by Brits.

I myself have been hugely critical of his deluded nature, idleness & the fact the he is letting his prime pass him by whilst trying to chase fights he doesn't deserve nor ever had any real chance of securing.

The 147lb division is hot & he could have fought a big name during the time he was idle & had he won, he might just have hit the jackpot with Floyd.

I was in favor of the first Maidana fight over giving Khan his shot at that time. The second Maidana fight was simply a low risk bridge to the Pac charade. Berto was a no risk bow out. FMJ's decision to avoid Khan was based on risk v reward including but obviously not limited to the economic reward. Khan would have been a better / more entertaining fight than pretty much any of FMJ's fights since ODLH.

Khan is simply quality entertainment and he has crossover star power.

Let's see, the Algieri fight was "good", but sad considering a "top" guy looked like that against Algieri.
The Alexander, Collazo and Molina fights were trash. Julio Diaz was more proof that Khan isn't top level.
