I hope Timmy can beat him legit in the 3rd fight. I kinda doubt it, but I'll be rooting for him.

I think he has a great chance and I think both are going to put it all on the line. Could be the pick of them I thinkThe Revival wrote:I hope Timmy can beat him legit in the 3rd fight. I kinda doubt it, but I'll be rooting for him.

Ah, freedom of speech - it's my hooman rite innit ?
Anyone who disagrees is clearly a hater and/or racist.

I don't see how anyone who is genuinely religious can possibly support homosexuality.

Re: Pacquiao talking religious nonsense??
I wonder what is the most outrageous thing someone could say and use religion as the reason and get away with it.
What if someone came out with say Adam and eve must of had sex with their kids for the human race to grow so incest is what god intended for us... Surely no one could defend that.

Criticise a religion you are accused of hate speech and can end up in prison.ste1983 wrote:Similar to Fury I don't really agree with his comments but its based on his religion the 'freedom of speech' brigade can't want people to be able to express their views but only if it suits them.

A Filipino friend informed me, not the BBC, not ITV, not the Guardian, not the Independent or any of the others jumping on this story.SNG wrote:So how do you know about it?Boxing Prospect wrote:BBC reported on this controversy yet ignored the housing thing...they went with the negative and didn't even mention the positive in passing referencetobyh5 wrote:

Why would they report on Manny Pacquaio and his housing work?
People like you make me laugh, you're so naive about the media.

I don't see how anyone who is genuinely sane can believe in such twaddle in the 21st century, the whole thing is a con, not to mention a scientific impossibility.Coco wrote:I don't see how anyone who is genuinely religious can possibly support homosexuality.

Re: Pacquiao talking religious nonsense??
the thing about him buying the houses was reported somewhere anyway, cos i was talking to my mate about it yesterday before this gay stuff even appeared. im not a fan of the media most of the time but there hardly supposed to mention all his good deads when he fuks up and says something alot of people dont agree with, there just supposed to report the said incident not list of all the good things hes also done in his defenceBoxing Prospect wrote:A Filipino friend informed me, not the BBC, not ITV, not the Guardian, not the Independent or any of the others jumping on this story.SNG wrote:So how do you know about it?Boxing Prospect wrote:

My point is that we very rarely hear positive stories, and it's all too often the negative stories. Crolla's good Samaritan story is possibly the one exception with boxing, with that getting mass media attention. Khan's charity work often gets under-played whilst his naughties on the webcam got a lot of attention.SNG wrote:Why would they report on Manny Pacquaio and his housing work?

Yeah call it naivety, I'd just like to see some positive stories on boxers being reported by the media. Over the last few months the big mass stories for boxing have been "Tyson Fury hates Gays", "Tyson Fury thinks women should be in the kitchen", "Manny Pacquiao compares homosexuality to animals", a little positivity would be nice, as unlikely as it is.
Re: Pacquiao talking religious nonsense??
Pacquiao is a 3rd world Filipino that was raised half-way up a mountain. He was about 7 years old when his family moved to General Santos City after witnessing a massacre by the military where he was living before. The first time he saw a TV he looked behind it thinking there were people in it. He had never seen electricity before. He then sold donuts as a child to support his family until he made a few bucks boxing. He never had an education. Amongst all of that though he's became deeply religious.
I don't believe anyone takes his comments seriously. This isn't an educated and westernised sports person that's media trained. Imo the LGBT community absolutely love grabbing this kind of publicity when the likes of Pacquiao or Fury open their big stupid religious mouths.

You're most likely a sheep that somehow found 7 rounds or more for Floyd in Castillo 1, Maidana 1 & Pacquiao. I don't care. If a flashy shoulder roll and running from the action all night fits your criteria then whatever, enjoy your boxing.Nightmare Roy wrote:You thought he beat Mayweather. Then they shouldn't make simpleton comments "Do you see animals mating with the same sex?" yes all the fornicating time, I've got two male dogs that always tried to fornicate each other before we got them neutered. Animals will try and fornicate anything, there was a video doing the rounds a few years ago of a cat trying to fend off a horny rabbit.Boxing Prospect wrote:My point is that we very rarely hear positive stories, and it's all too often the negative stories. But criticise homosexuality and you equally can be accused of a hate crime and end up in prison thats my point it all contradicts.banjo wrote:Criticise a religion you are accused of hate speech and can end up in prison.ste1983 wrote:Similar to Fury I don't really agree with his comments but its based on his religion the 'freedom of speech' brigade can't want people to be able to express their views but only if it suits them.
Me opinion would be people should be allowed to say what the fornicate they want (all it often does is show their own stupidity anyway) all this 'it may offend someone else' so you can't say it
