What has building houses got to do with it?

As for Manny it seems a bit of a backwards view point to me but it's his own view and he's entitled to it
If we are talking backwards views....the facts are, the bible came long after the people of sodom and gommorah and the people of Lot.....homosexuality is as ancient and backwards a view as u can get strictly sticking to the age of such practices and views....Christianity came afterwards and is ancient ....but less so....

He doesn't hate homosexuals he just doesn't agree with the idea of marriage between them. His views.

I don't agree with Hinduism but that doesn't mean I hate every single hindu

I don't agree with vegetarianism , but I don't hate the people who are vegetarians

It's not exclusively a religious belief. You can get atheists who may agree or disagree with it too.

I do hate the wba though , pudenda, hope they burn in hell

Criticise a religion you are accused of hate speech and can end up in prison.
But criticise homosexuality and you equally can be accused of a hate crime and end up in prison thats my point it all contradicts.

Me opinion would be people should be allowed to say what the eff they want (all it often does is show their own stupidity anyway) all this 'it may offend someone else' so you can't say it :brick:
Yet religion is just an idea, like communism or democracy that you can very easily make a decision on whether to follow it or not. Homosexuality is not only something which predates any religious/political philosophy it's also a natural instinct, it's a sexual attraction, you can't control who you are and aren't attracted to. Whereas you can choose what idea to believe in.

In your opinion religion is just an idea (not saying I disagree) but others may say that by saying that you are offending them............and we get back to my original point.

I know gay women who hate the thought of being with a man . Just the way people are.

....yet they are desperate to have children so have a desire to borrow their sperm and not give it back

She tells me it's natural for her to be a mother like any other lady .....which I understand

After all she is a woman

Not acceptable but it is an instinct but there is a massive difference between two consenting adults of the same sex having a sexual relationship and an adult having sex with a pre-pubescent child.

Homosexuals don't ruin lives, paedophiles do

Is homosexuality a "natural" instinct ? The biological/natural purpose of sex is for reproduction, which we know is not possible between homosexuals. One of the things which separates humans from animals is that we are expected to control our instincts, which is why rape and paedophilia are criminal offences (as was homosexuality not so long ago). I don't have a problem with consenting adults having a homosexual relationship but I can appreciate that some people have different views.

There's loads of gay animals, and not just indiscriminate humping. Swans couple up, apparently. And they get a female Swan in for threesomes sometimes too. Wikipedia says.

Dirty little bastards.
Serious question, I dont know the evolutionary biology behind it and this is just a clap trap theory- however I wonder if homosexuality whether it be in humans or animals was designed as a population control measure.

People like you make me laugh, you're so naive about the media.
My point is that we very rarely hear positive stories, and it's all too often the negative stories. Crolla's good Samaritan story is possibly the one exception with boxing, with that getting mass media attention. Khan's charity work often gets under-played whilst his naughties on the webcam got a lot of attention.

Yeah call it naivety, I'd just like to see some positive stories on boxers being reported by the media. Over the last few months the big mass stories for boxing have been "Tyson Fury hates Gays", "Tyson Fury thinks women should be in the kitchen", "Manny Pacquiao compares homosexuality to animals", a little positivity would be nice, as unlikely as it is.
Then they shouldn't make simpleton comments "Do you see animals mating with the same sex?" yes all the effing time, I've got two male dogs that always tried to eff each other before we got them neutered. Animals will try and eff anything, there was a video doing the rounds a few years ago of a cat trying to fend off a horny rabbit.

Rape and Paedophilia cause harm, homosexuality doesn't, I can't see any feasible way in which it can be related to the other two and the reason why it was illegal and still is in some countries is because people are scared of what's different.

The humans and animals aspect is flawed, humans are a class of mammal and like all mammals we have urges that can't always be controlled, the sport for which we all joined this forum is an example for some of those urges, the need for conflict and violence and to establish yourself as the dominant one.

The majority of the world take the ramblings of a book written several millenia ago literally, that's a truly terrifying thought.
