It's always been a case they make sure the ink is dry until announcing. Remember how we reacted when there was a full blown press conference for Chisora v Malik Scott and 10 minutes after it finished Scotts team made a press release saying they had clearly asked for nothing to be announced as it wasn't signed. I don't really understand how the mandatory defences work. Do the ABC bodies just make the rules as they go long? Or do they all have a standard procedure?
