That's a picture of American politician Paul Ryan, who was a vice president candidate last election.

Heard he was a postman.

Bad lad when he was a kid, did well considering he didn't take boxing up til he was 24. Shame he retired whilst still quite young but but just couldn't take a punch...Think he had few problems at home with wife etc at the time as well.

Had a dig on him like,

....cracking York Hall Christmas holiday atmosphere.. "the rooster" was being talked up as "world title" contender, still would have fancied both of them to beat Sammy Fuentes, one of the worst alphabet champs in history!

I have a few Ryan fights on my youtube page and his last fight. He just didnt have much of a defence and was quite wild I think, apart from having no chin. Very entertaining fighter though. Looked a bit of a wild en though.

Yeah could tell the lad had only been boxing for 5 years in the Hale and Thaxton fights, poor technique. Fair play to him though, did well to get a British title. Show's how much clout Warren had with the WBO especially back then that they were ranked 1 & 2 in the world :o

His last fight was against McCreesh, originally fro my neck of the woods in Teesside. Good solid domestic fighter, had a cracking fight with Kevin Lueshing.
