If those numbers mean that he (Haymon) is "Killing Boxing" then none of us really know what the hell "dying" really is.

Just a few numbers:
That show attracted 3.37 million viewers, including 554,000 in the 18-34-year-old demo and 1.38 million in the 18-49 audience group.
That fight attracted an audience of 2.18 million viewers, with 176,000 of them in the 18-34-year-old demographic and 739,000 in the 18-49-year-old demographic.

There are some issues with PBC though, the problem is that their demographic (target audience) limits the type of viewership they are trying to get, furthermore competition with major events like Pro baseball playoffs or other type professional sports being broadcasted at the same time steals numbers away from them as well as having their show broadcasted over several different networks such as NBC, NBC Sports Network, CBS, ESPN, Spike, Fox Sports 1 and Bounce but these things will be fixed this coming year so it will change how their numbers are as far as viewers.

The point is of all of this is that if no one was watching then we have Idiots like Vicky who could actually make a statement like "Haymon (the BLACK Promoter) is Killing Boxing" but the only other way that would be true is if his audience were corpses.

Why should we be surprised that any business still in it's first year of operation would be showing
huge outlays of capital as they set up longterm concessions, in this case paying for TV time over 3 or 5 years.
