Need E-mail for Bob Yalen, Dan Cuoco

Post by wasserman »

Looking for any information on Boxer Abraham Hollandersky or anyone actually doing boxing research for boxers in the Manhattan and or New England/Connecticut area for the periods between 1906-1918. Several fights are missing for Hollandersky when he boxed in Cuba in January and February of 1912, most likely near Guantanamo, possibly near the Naval base itself. Also a missing fight for Hollandersky in 1927 which should have appeared in the Honolulu Adviser or Honolulu Star Bulletin. Governor Farrington, territorial governor of Hawaii was supposed to have been present at the fight, and he had worked for both the Adviser and the Star Bulletin during his career. The fight took place in Honolulu. A boxing historian familiar with Cuban boxing around 1912 or boxing in Hawaii in 1927 would be helpful as well. A boxing historian with knowledge of onboard Navy boxing between 1912-1927 would also be quite helpful, at least in locating a source list for such fights.

Would also appreciate an e-mail address for Bob Yalen and Dan Cuoco, whom I previously corresponded with via e-mail, but whose contact information I have lost. I promise to contact either only via e-mail and not with great frequency.
