Chins

Post by conty22 »

Glass chins - David Price : Probably the worst chin in top 50

Bronze chins - Malik Scott , Artur Szpilka and many others

Silver chins

Wladimir Klitschko - Rocked by Wach , Pulev. Tyson Fury rocked him more than 2 times and Fury is know for not being a hard puncher
Deontay Wilder - Rocked badly by Eric Molina . Took some good shots against Stiverne and Szpilka with no problems. His chin is average.
Tyson Fury - Knocked down by Steve Cunninham and rocked by Firtha badly , I think his is enough smart and big to protect his chin.

Gold chins -

Dereck Chisora - He challanged some good names like Helenius , Vitali or Tyson Fury without being knocked out.
Anthony Joshua - His chin looked much better than Wilder's or Wladimir's when i saw him against Whyte. He got rocked , but not so badly.
Mike Perez - Decent chin but made one big mistake against Povetkin

Iron Chins -

Stiverne - Took hard shots from Deontay Wilder.
Wach - Chin , this is all this guy has.
Dohoupas - Pretty decent chin , big head and strong legs
Jennings - His chin is pretty good. He had no problem with Wladimir's shots
Povetkin - Knocked down by a jab against Wlad , but his chin is pretty decent.

So Wlad has a silver chin, Joshua has a gold chin and Stiverne, Jennings and Povetkin have iron chins?

There needs to be another level (perhaps granite chin) for the likes of Oliver McCall and George Chuvalo who are nearly impossible to hurt with head shots.

Though he's been stopped about 4 times that Rafael Zumbano Love guy can take a pretty good shot considering he gets hit with damn near everything you throw. It's rare that somebody is able to take him out quickly in spite of his god awful defense, you usually gotta beat on him a while.
