Nort Beauchamp
IF any of the above were ballsy enough to want to finally take the fight we'd be there in a heart beat all 3 have been offered fights.
Fu.k look out world Vannathy is not a boxer fight boxers
Fact remains: People walking around calling them-selves a "world champion" sometimes with no restraint w.s.e., and....it's CLASSLESS FOR ONE. What's the difference between the WBU, WBF, IBC, IBO, NBA, WBB, WAA, and the FIRST &major four? Oh I know the answer...it's that they ALL desire to have the same "lieing status" as the IBO who, some major champs mistakenly "mix" with!
You all are NOT PURE HEARTS!
Listed 3 who wouldn't fight him mate are they are all 'boxers' so unfortunately we have to look at guys who are willing. In Vannathy we have a very experienced fight sport professional.
Wbu isn't as HURTFUL TO THE SPORT...as the Ibo BECAUSE..... because it is now "less-so" blurred as far as "what is accepted" and what is SO OBVIOUS even to the VANITY FAIR TYPES (who don't know anything about..)
campfire, not once have we said NO ONE in the South Pacific will fight him. Quite simply no other boxers around his weight in NZ will fight him. We had the title fight set up with Williams but unfortunately couldn't get it over the line. So looked at a National title fight with the 3 guys I mentioned however none would take it. So decided to keep Anthony busy against tough and slick kick fighter Vannathy he also fights again in May after which we will target a Top 4 (WBO, IBF, WBA, WBA) regional title.

So did these 3 pull out for this fight what about TNT's last 4 opponent's 3 were making their debut's kickboxer's too were they
Clearly you lack comprehension skills campfire, as clearly stated I said NONE of these 3 listed would accept. Please feel free to contact there various management teams to verify if you like
New Zealand has a small pool of professional fighters at best least of all in the Super-Lightweight division, so Taylor has been kept busy fighting the guys who will fight him. Jordan Syme and Kru Chain are both experienced Muay Thai fighters Matthew Tuakolo has 20am fights. Clearly we'd like him fighting more experienced pro's and he will.
Clearly your an expert promoter and know the game inside out for that I salute you

I'm pretty sure team Taylor knew before he entered a boxing ring that in NZ the pool of fighter's is lets say on the thin side the Heavyweight's will get a bit more local competition especially when your still fighting 4/6 rounder's because size wise there aint no-body bigger then the South Pacific Islander's in our part of the World you mentioned the word LACK in your assumption of me what I should mention is Team Taylor lack of South Pacific Boxing knowledge Team Taylor need to realise This is Boxing beating Kickboxer's wether they'v 100 or 10 Kickboxing fight's won't help Taylor improve in anyway his record will get padded and he'll get smashed as soon as he fight's any decent Boxer in this part of the world there are plenty to pick from in the land of Oz but then again you'd already know that stop pretending and protecting this aint Kickboxing and no I'm not a promoter and neither are you come to think of it I'd put you to shame if we were promoter's
Good luck with Ant, must be very frustrating to match him. I reckon team George will have to take the fight in the end. What about the new Fijian lad on the scene?
George is in fantasy land mate. He won;t fight Taylor so we'll keep exposing him for what he really is.
Singh is a local Fijian his promoter is bringing him over to fight. We are hopeful we may get some traction there once he's had his fight in March, he's got to beat Syme first that wont be a easy feat so its wait and see on that front.
It has been frustrating but none the less we will keep psuhing on mate looking forward to mixing it with some of the better Aussies this year.

Good luck mate there are some good fight's to be made

N2 Shape I'm not being a smarty but a mate of mine who lives near the N.S.W/Victoria border said he heard on the local news down that way
that Joey Williams is retiring from boxing Williams claims his next scheduled opponent has pulled out of a fight with him for the 3rd time
do you know mate what Williams is on about or is he telling a porky
-From Connecticut- yoo..why is campfire so "down" on kick-boxers? I remember one Thai kick boxer who won world championship in only his third fight. (Remember him for a tKo-3 loss to Hearns at Hearns height!)
You all contributing to the down grading of the SPORT when you go with any "world" championship outside of the first &major four. believe me I know what I'm talking about.
I'm bit -old- I been pushing it to get in a hand-ful more of matches (147, or 147+). Their is no way I would ~even CARE~ to agree to contract that DID NOT specify controls on the whole-card in relation to "administration". [Do intercontinental titles Wbf & Wbc...that is "fine", nobody Gen. will understand that level anyway! But...when you mix Wbc, or Ibf a.s.o. with a "Ibo", here is where the Sport is RIPPED-UP]
You all on the wrong ROAD! I wish I could influence you here but/so far you all are only interested in your own personal gains and that has poor vision as you been talking.
campfire, Taylor have never pulled out of a fight against Williams. Originally they were scheduled to fight for the WBU title middle of last year however the promoter of that show which was to be held in Hamilton, NZ cancelled the show 10 days out so both Taylor and Williams were left in the lurch. This time around we had difficulty securing the title, and were not prepared to pay sanctioning fees unless a couple of administrative issues were cleared up.
Once it became apparent that this was going to be long and slow process we decided to withdraw the title and move forward with a non title 8 rounder. I personally offered Williams a regional title bout for later in the year which his reply was along the lines of "let me know when the time comes and I'll consider it." and we left it at that.

Mate I'm not so down on KICK-BOXER'S like you said what did you say 1 KICK-BOXER how many was it 1 that was able to buck the trend he was a Thai I won't even try spelling his name his initial's are SM that'll have to do lol you forgot about Algieri he was the latest Sam Solomon was another but many failed because one sport you can kick and punch that's the BIG difference some people need to kick to be affective so most people will do kickboxing that are in that boat [cannot kick a boxer because kicking will get you kicked the fu.k out of the sport of boxing] These two sports so far apart not many can convert with much success and that's ok because KICKBOXING is as dangerous as BOXING if not more dangerous I take my hat off to these people I never ever doubted their courage or warrior mentality same as UFC/MMA fighter's
to keep fighting KICKBOXER'S will not do your BOXING career any good matter of fact it will come back and bite you on the ass that I can assure you same if the shoe was on the other foot with the KICKBOXER who keeps fighting BOXER'S who are unaffective when it comes to kicking guess what will happen when he gets in with a expert kicker I don't think I need say.................Mate you need to start making sense because the rest of your post is quite puzzling what are you on

So as mentioned Taylor has never pulled out
Mate I never said Anthony pulled out Joey Williams saying it in the local media down his way I'm just telling you what my mate told me this morning on the phone cheers
campfire, understood mate Im just clarifying Taylor has not pulled out. He'd glady fight Williams. Perhaps the local media should do there job instead of taking one man's word for it

For the record champ I never said YOU said Taylor pulled out? In any case we are not bothered Taylor hasn't pulled out of any fights. If local media want to report that so be it. Imagine the world we'd live in if ALL media reported everything they heard from one source lol.

Tosca Petridis beat Iran Barkley in only his second ever boxing fight, Paul Briggs never had an amateur boxing fight, he was Muay Thai all the way, the list of kickboxers turned successful boxers is huge, infact, the ISS gym in Pattaya had two Thai WBA world champions out of what is a Muay Thai gym. The reason these two Thais fought boxing instead of Muay Thai, why? Because it as deemed they both started training too late in life to have a successful Muay Thai career.
