As for never losing a round.. how about when he should've lost the fight to Tibau?
I don't think he should have lost that fight. However, if there is a round to be lost, it would be that fight. I overlooked that one. Khabib made Gleison fight his fight and controlled most of the bout. Of course, this is controversial and subjective. If you believe Gleison won, I will not argue with you, just disagree.

At this point, though, Khabib, even though inactive for 2 years, is still the next best test for Conor given the champ is out. For me, Khabib is the best LW in the division, at the moment. Since RDA is out, it would be huge for Conor to take the scalp of the last guy to defeat the champ. And it really wasn't that long ago.

It was 2 years ago. Dos Anjos has had 5 fights since then. Khabib has had none. There's not enough time to draw up the necessary interest for it among casual fans. They need a fight with an active fighter who has some kind of name at the moment. Khabib provides neither, and he's already scheduled for a main event a month later.

As someone else said, we honestly don't know what he even brings to the table anymore. He needs a tune-up himself before getting thrust back into the mix, even if I agree that he is a terrible matchup for Conor on paper.

If Nate is in shape, it's an interesting fight.

You consider Ferguson a tune up?

The UFC currently has Khabib ranked #2 in the division.

He usually is aint he. Both brothers seem to keep fit out of camp. It's the magic mixture of cannabis and triathlons!

I think Diaz will get busted up pretty badly and possibly stopped late. We'll see I guess.

Ps Khabib is by far the best fighter at 155 provided he's fit.

Does Nate do Triathlons to same extent as Nick? I'm always hearing about Nick doing them but not Nate as much.

He definitely has done. Not sure if he still runs them.

He wasn't in shape for the RDA fight. He also had a difficult time making weight for the Cowboy fight.

Good fight for Connor. The fact it's at 170 tells you that Nate isn't in the best of shape and he's unlikely to look for the takedown. Only way I could see Connor losing is with some Fedor/Werdum shit.

Fun fight, but even with RDA/McGregor as the main event I was on the fence about spending $60 on this card. Without it, no chance.

Lol for now. I reckon sky will come in at some point and start putting on certain events on PPV. If not, BT sports themselves will start doing it.

Yeah depends if they think the sport is big enough over here yet. Doesn't feel like it's pushed on from the days of Dan Hardy and Bisping at LHW.

Yeah Conor is. But not sure how many of the people who would pay to watch him, would also pay to watch Jones, Lawler, Rockhold etc. Their loss, but I know a few who aren't interested in MMA outside of McGregor.

I just saw on an MMA site that Mcgregors fight with Diaz was just mentioned on sky sports news. Apparantly it's the first time anyone has seen that with the rights being with BT sports.

Interesting. I actually first saw that it was Diaz when I checked the BBC Sport website this morning. Don't think I've seen MMA on there before.

Just read that Showtime was interested in the fight. That would have been quality. A much better fight than Diaz but also riskier.

Mcgregor really is becoming mainstream now. I honestly think he could sell out pretty big arena's in the UK, let alone Ireland.
