Not that interesting a bet, but good value imo.ardybo wrote:Its a big weekend of boxing this weekend. Anyone doing any interesting bets?
Burton v Shinkwin
Many see this as a 50/50 fight. Some even favour Shinkwin, yet he is available at 7/4 !

I'm looking at Shinkwin at 13/8 myself along with a Frampton TKO win at 11/4 and Huck pts win evens, at 19/1 accum.cutsman wrote:Not that interesting a bet, but good value imo.ardybo wrote:Its a big weekend of boxing this weekend. Anyone doing any interesting bets?

Not sure about that one mate. I don't think Burton has dropped a round in his pro career yet and although neither has a fantastic record, Hosea has fought the slightly better opposition with his standout wins being the destruction of Smyle and stoppage of Hillerby. I'm backing Burton on this.cutsman wrote:Not that interesting a bet, but good value imo.ardybo wrote:Its a big weekend of boxing this weekend. Anyone doing any interesting bets?

Hillerby is a blown up light middle, if that is one of Burtons best wins then it's not a lot to go on.The Insider wrote:Not sure about that one mate. As I said their records/opposition isn't great. McIntyre is Miles ' best win and he didn't fight anyone with a winning record going into their fight. In fact out of 12 fights he fought Elvis Dube 3 times Miekle twice and Darren McKenna twice. Boxrec has Miles and Hosea just 1 place apart so perhaps it's just me who doesn't see it . Actually think Burton might force a stoppage .ardybo wrote:Hillerby is a blown up light middle, if that is one of Burtons best wins then it's not a lot to go on.The Insider wrote:Not sure about that one mate. Burton could well force a stoppage as Shinkwin did fade against McIntyre after starting well, but there's a sloppiness to Burtons work that I don't like. I have a feeling Shinkwin will win the early rounds and Burton will come on strong as the fight progresses. It is a hard one to call but have feeling Shinkwin can do it.The Insider wrote:As I said their records/opposition isn't great. I just can't make my mind up. I think frampton will box the brakes off him till Quigg turns it into a brawl. If the Burton bet comes in I'll sit back and watch it I think.Riddick Blowe wrote:Pretty confident Frampton takes it.
Anyone done the Winner bonus? Might put the lot on Carl...but wondering how many times I have to do the 'play it through' circus if I want to withdraw. They never seem to make it very clear...
I had them at the +12 handicap. Thought I was buying money but had to rely on that last minute try for it to come in.The Insider wrote:France have got to be worth a nibble at 17/4 in the rugger tonight.
Oooooosssssshhhhh!!!!!!!!The Insider wrote:Burton stoppage 3/1 corals covered with Burton win 8/13 various. If this fails I'll be looking to recoup on quigg v frampton but not decided who wins yet.

I was going to ask that too. Diaz is 4-1 and is significantly tallerBennyblanco wrote:Don't know much about UFC but surely this connor mcgregor is going to be bought back down to earth soon enough, he's moved up two weight classes and his opponent looked huge at the face to face. Worth a bet??
i would have tought because the market changed it would be a void bet, altought they may have changed the bet to 6-10 ko rounds instead as the fight was shortened, they may have just moved the goal posts so as the speak.Deno1986 wrote:I'm having awfully difficulty trying to get PP to refund a bet. I had money on Burnett to stop Settoul in 7-12 rounds. The fight obviously ended up only being scheduled for 10 but PP are refusing to recognise this. Anyone ever had any similar issues?
Thing is McGregor is probably now at his natural weight class at 170. He had to severely weight drain to get down to 145 and even 155. Diaz is coming in at 2 weeks notice and his style is tailor made for McGregor in that he will probably stand and trade. The person that will beat McGregor is one who is able to get him on the ground and keep him there. Diaz might get him down but I don't think he has the fitness or conditioning to keep him down. Saying that, it's a funny sport and one that has had it's fair few upsets in recent times.reggaereggae wrote:I was going to ask that too.
