As soon as i heard Hearns had won i was thinking the same thing. I have not seen the Hitmans comeback fights so i cant comment on whether he should be in the ring or not but i hope it does not end in tradgedy.

From what I've read and heard Hearns lacked the power and pace and grace of the old days on Saturday. He apparently struggled against a very average opponent and I would think he'd sadly be completely outdone by Hill

I was thinking the same aswell, Hearns vs Hill 2 by all accounts would be a complete embarresment, but I can see it happening.

The only thing that is in its favour is that Hearns' comeback has been low key - those with internet access and into boxing know he's back, outsiders don't. No TV and very little press outside of boxing papers. Even Bowe has had TV.

I'd like Hearns to retire , but it isn't going to happen. After his latest fight he said that as long as he was getting paid he was going to continue boxing.

If he did fight Hill , he wouldn't win. In Hearns last fight he struggled against a very average boxer, although Hearns was winning on points when he stopped him there was no snap in his punches.

As soon as Hearns fights a live opponent then i can see a repeat of when Duran took on Joppy, and was battered inside of 3 rounds.

I have to agree, following Tommys comeback has a simular feeling to whatching a train crash in slow motion. I just hope Tommy doesn't get hurt.

Yeah I read that to makes you think that many fans are trying to 'recapture their youth' as much as Hearns is.

Nostalgia is BIG business and this will I assume only encourage Hearns to continue.
