I Think I'm going to for Frampton on this, for a late stoppage, or probably points win. I just don't think Quigg has improved enough to beat Carl, even though Carl didn't look great last time out!
but I don't think he has slipped that much, I Maybe wrong, as I like Quiggs work ethic and they have definitely riled Frampton and the McGuigan's up in the build up but Frampton just has more talent and that's what I'm going with?

Is this the funniest most comedy build up to a fight ever? I mean Joe Gallagher is like a caricature, Old Barry like a schoolboy, Shane and Blaine, Eddie Hearn the panto villian. Adam Smith's theatrical pauses, Johnny Nelson, the guy from SSN, its all one big joke isn't it?

So much parody material its unreal. I genuinely have been in stitches in this build up. It's kind of made me forget about how good a fight this is.

Frampton Quigg Behind the Dressing Room coming soon.

I kinda wish we had more goofiness in boxing. I love nonsense we sometimes get like Hearn wandering around like a gay headmaster, Fury singing songs after matches, Fury interrupting Wilder's celebration (I was half expecting to hear Big Show's music hit next) Briggs knocking Klitschko off a surfboard, McGuigan and Frampton wandering around like a bully and his dad from a 1980s film, Quigg's daft entrance from a few years ago where he walked from his house all the way to the arena and it was such a distance I was expecting him to hop on a bus.

I prefer my comedy to be intentional, and coming from self-aware actors. but i take your point.

Camp Eddie is much more like a gay Pantomine Impressario or Circus Ringmaster than he is like a gay headmaster

I don't like Camp Eddie, but you've got to admit he's not bad at his job. He'd convince people me v lefty was PPV and bring in a load of sub plots neither of us knew about. I laughed at him orchestrating the crowd in Belfast and him pushing Frampton the other day. After the fight, he'll be mates with them all!

I remember seeing an interview with Frampton years ago where he says he very chilled and even his wife says he's too laid back and before a fight Carl says he has to tell Shane to tell Barry to leave the dressing room because he's too excitable and all Carl wants to do is relax with a bit of Sam Cooke before a fight but Barry gets too animated and he's been at his worst for this fight

I would probably still like to see Frampton win but i'd be happy for Quigg if he won,he's worked hard for it and seems to have sacrificed his life for the sport

I cant wait to get there,im leaving 1st thing in the morning, ive been to a few pro shows before but never a big one like this,i usually like to be in the comfort of my own home for the boxing but i'll make an exception for this, ive told my mates i'll no be fvcking about in boozers im watching every fight and have even nipped to the bookies for pens and slips to score the fights :box: ........

doubt quigg has done the weight as well as frampton.

he was drinking water the minute he was off the scales, which isn't the right thing for guys draining lots of weight. very different approach from frampton. so if how they've made weight does affect the outcome then i'd be going for frampton. although saying that, frampton hasn't looked great all week, quigg looked awful just for the weigh in.

in terms of the check weigh in, people are making more of this than needs be. it wont have been hard to wake up under the 10lb limit at all.

Kell brook manages it for the ibf, these guys are nearly 2st lighter, as a % of their weight it's much easier.

Ernie Sharif is the ref, Dave Parris is one of the judges, other two are American but I can't remember their names.

I always worry in big fights that Terry O'Connor is going to get the job and fornicate things up so I'm glad he hasn't got the job. What's Sharif like? Can't say his name rings a bell. Which I guess is good since I only tend to remember shit refs.

Don't know anything about him, reasonably experienced in world title fights looking back at his record. Parris does worry me though, over the last few years he's started to turn in some questionable scorecards, hopefully that isn't repeated tonight.

whist unlikely, it did cross my mind if both of the camps decided to jointly cause a bit of a raucous in the build up as both fighters seem like genuine nice guys and they feared the 2 fighters providing an otherwise boring build up.

I know the fight sells itself to genuine fans of boxing but to drag the rest of folk to the party it never hurts to cause a stir up in the build up.

I think both camps in equal measures have come across less than well. I do however think that Shane has been the most dignified held himself with the greatest esteem out of all of them (excluding the fighters).

Says who? According to Frampton's team it was made up to wind Quigg up and they let him have it. Pathetic if you ask me.

It was on the intro on box office, Quigg has got the dressing room he had for Monroe 2, Frampton doesn't have it either. They showed the empty dressing room,Quiggs room and Frampton has 3 white settees in his and 2 white tables with flowers. Not kidding.
