Why should hatton have been docked a point, it's extremely rare for someoen to get docked for a single low blow. The referee is supposed to issue a warning first, so you are talking complte and utter bollocks as usual.

Let's see how fornicating well you would do as a ref without the benefit of Video replay? It's very hard to see exactly where a shot lands when it's on the belt line like that.

Floyd v DLH isn't set yet, but I've always said this fight won't happen this year. I think both men realise that this fight is going to be HUGE after some anticipation and both of them can make a lot of money in the meantime fighting lesser opposition, why else would Floyd bother taking on Judah, who he is likely to beat pretty easily?

I personally thought Tyuzus blows were borderline and none-intentional.

Rickys was intentional and basically his hardest KO blow to the nuts, what if Tyuzu couldnt have continued? An intentional headbutt can be disqualification - an intentional low blow of that nature should be at least 1 point deducted - no 2 ways about it - nowhere in the rules is there even talk of warnings - that is the refs discretion.

seems to me if hatton fights baldomir he forces PBF's hand into aifghting him, no where else to go.

Even ali had his soft touches when he was champ.

I think the Baldomir fight could be a semi-decent match up and so is gatti but lets not get illusions of P4P Greatness when your fighting 2 of the softest touch champs around (Baldomir and Maussa). I won't buy this if its PPV though.

Its an unpopular thing to say but Hattons resume isn't doing anything greater than what Calazage was. BTW Cal to beat Lacy UD.

I personally see Tyuzu as either old not that fit or never that good in the first place - thats an unfashionable statement BUt anyway. He undoubtadly had the power but didnt have the speed or stamina or variety to fight at Rickys pace. I think many would pick a younger fitter KT to keep what he was doing in the middle rounds and win a UD.

I rank Tyuzu on the same level as Calazage beating Eubank. Eubank, Benn, Collins and Calazage are underated P4P in my book. McCellan was P4P pre-Benn (top4), Benn wins in a great fight and doesnt get on the top10 list.

HE IS THE MAN. THE MAN deosn't have three tune-up fights, THE MAN takes on THE BEST competition, the TRUE #1 contenders and DOMINATES them. I just want him to act like THE MAN.

Fair enough but what is Hatton supposed to do while Mayweather v Judah is going on? Sit on the sidelines waiting? I think PBFs wetting himself at the thought of fighting DLH for $10-15m, how much would a Hatton fight net him? Probably $6m at best.

My opinion is that they should have taken the fight last year when it was first offered to them. Daddy knew they weren't ready, so it's all fair. Any fight that's a step up will be great. And enough with mentioning all these big name fights that never materialize anyway. If they're name-matching all these big fighters with Hatton to create a buzz, they should rethink their strategy.

Let's go back to the days when instead of "name-matching" fighters, they actually got in the ring with them to create a hype. The reason Hatton hasn't become a huge name outside the UK is his own doing. Stop milking the Tszyu win dry, finally make a big fights and win.

I reckon a big part of the reason for the step is to sidestep Frankie's mandatory traps.

I can see the sense in this match up though. It's for exactly the same reasons as the last one which does make it feel like treading water but it's another belt.
More importantly it's of the WBC variety - the only flavour that Mayweather enjoys.

The plan is to build up the fight with PBF for next year. Why fight him now for £2m when it's worth double or triple that in a years time when Ricky is more well known over in the states?

Who else is there to fight now? Cotto is fighting Branco, Gatti can't get down to LW. I reckon after Baldomir he's likely to come back down to fight Ben Rabah then next year Cotto/Castillo and PBF.

Zoo Ko1 or 2 Ricky will be too easy to find. If Ricky goes to the body Zoo can hit harder to the body. If Ricky iniates anything Zoos counter will be waiting and I think it'll take Ricky out the same as it did to Mitchell but quicker

At he time there was question marks over Hattons Chin after Tackie/Phillips rocked him and Maggee floored him. Many people predicted Zoo by KO it was a logical prediction by most (even most Hatton fans on here predicted it). If you also dig up my posts (which only a complete loser with nothing better to do would do) you'll see I wrote if Zoo doesn't KO Hatton, Hatton has a chance to outwork/outbox Zoo. I also overated Zoo off his Mitchell/Judah wins.
