Most people have nothing but contempt for this guy for obvious reasons. I hope he gets his head kicked in.

A long, sustained, brutal beating that ends in his collapse into a pile of pulp less than a minute prior to the final bell would be preferable.

Ok so in more subtle way it's still down to his past behaviour :salut:

I guess no one can see past that so no interest for it.
As awful as it all was, he's not going to that again and in terms of Cotto, he exacted revenge and is still right up there now.
I hesitate to say no harm was done but maybe we could live and let live eh?

He'll do ok I'm sure but not back to world class level, still intrigued nonetheless.

I didn't say that I want him to end up a dead pulp pile. A heaving pile of pulp necessitating a scoop be utilized to remove it from the ring would suffice.

Probably because he'd been getting away with it previously. Seems unlikely they decided to do it just for the mosley fight, and clearly something was odd about how quickly Cotto started marking up once Margarito started hitting him.

How this dude is even allowed to fight after what he did is beyond me.

The only way I would tune it is if he starred in a Mexican donkey show.

What he did was inexcusable, should have been banned for life.

I'm a fan of lifetime bans for loaded gloves. Not just the fighter of course, but everyone that was in any way involved or aware.

Other than discussing loaded gloves, I fail to see how he is at all relevant....If we assume he did so a number of times before Mosley then that calls into question any wins he had leading up to that fight, and he has pretty steadily gotten his ass kicked since....he's not very good.

Other than asking what might have been an appropriate punishment for his criminal behavior, why would I care about his potential in the ring? He is a mediocre fighter.

Gloves? I prefer that Paez Jr just utilize a nightstick in one hand and a cattle prod in the other.

MargoCheato never was world class level. No sentence should ever be written on him without the words cheated, plaster, or loaded gloves not accompanying it.

What's annoying too, is the effect that beating had on Cotto, he's always marked up incredibly easily since that fight, which has hindered him in the long term.

I figure even a faded Margarito will be able to beat Paez Jr. who just was never much good to begin with, but really this fight doesn't matter much either way.
