Easy work for Broner. Can't go the guy at all so hopefully Theophane can spring an upset but I just can't see it...

Broner by wide points decision. Theophane is shit. Nobody who has lost to Darren Hamilton should be anywhere near a world title fight. Joke of a defence.

Can't see Broner stopping him, haven't seen much of Theophane but he seems like he's got a decent chin.

When he lost to Hamilton (even though i personally had Ash winning it) he just started feeling sorry for himself and has been very critical of the british boxing scene since. Complaining he was never given chances, had to do things the hard way, shown no love or respect blah blah blah. When I questioned this with him on social media he just blocked me and I was not even rude so although he is a british fighter and I am a firm believer of backing your own i rightly or wrongly hope he gets chinned as I get fed up of him playing the victim.

Theophane always came across as a disrespectful gobs***e to me.

I hope he does well against Broner, but I don't like him.

I hope Theopane gets the upset win though I think Broner will be too much for him.

Too easy this for Broner. I can see him staying in 2nd gear and boxing a shutout.

Despite his American adventure I still see Theophane as British class but he's done well to get this fight.

He's come up the hard way though. I try not to bother about what a guys like outside the ring (unless he behaves like a total c##t - domestic abuse, etc) and although Theophane can be a hard watch he is a decent pro - he gave Garcia absolute fits which is credit worthy.

Broner is a solid boxer but not what he thinks he is. I can see the first four being competitive, the next four one sided and probably a TKO of some type late on.

Darren Hamilton might be a hard watch as well but I have huge respect for what he achieved from where he was. Being a British champion is a big achievement

I liked Hamilton. I remember training at a gym in London and when turning up in the mornings first thing he was literally waking up off the sofa in the office as he was homeless. I think he came from Bristol but had nowhere to live. He would literally do PT to earn his 'keep' and train at same time for fights. Harry Andrews spoke so well of him and his dedication.

I'd say exactly the opposite. Spoken with him several times and he came across as a really nice bloke.

With his recent legal troubles I could see Broner being unfocused and having a harder time than he should here, but I still think he takes a decision here. Doubt he stops Theophane.

I hope that the stars have aligned for Theopane and he takes full advantage of the situation to put on a great show and get a career changing win.

Yeah same but it's a long shot. My mate has a theory that Floyd will make another comeback and fight Broner in a final final fight! He reckons all the verbals and animosity between them is them just setting the scene. Wouldn't actually surprise me tbh.

Broner was 6-7oz over at the weigh in, jumped off the scales and started eating and drinking
