I see a farce in Canelo-Khan

I agree with Sanchez he makes good points. If Kahn can box and move he can win. Floyd and Lara gave fits to Canelo with their movement and boxing skills. Obviously, Kahn is not PBF but he has skills.

Canelo has proven that he's not nearly as good against boxer-type fighters, this is true. The problem is that it only takes one power shot getting through from Canelo to the chin and Khan will be looking up at the lights. And on the flipside, Khan's power has not been impressive at all at Welterweight, so it's very unlikely he can do anything at Canelo-weight to stop Canelo from coming forward looking to force an exchange for 12 rounds. If Khan had more durability or better defense, I'd give him a legit shot, but this looks like basically a cash-out fight to me.

Bigger generally, or just taller? Canelo has come in 170+ on fight night while Khan is an averagish-sized WW; I'll be very surprised if Canelo isn't the larger guy on fight night.

Actual frame wise. Khan looked a bit more bulky but they didn't look 2 weight classes apart.

frame talk discarded, all that aside, we all know khan will do well for a few rounds and then get well and truly poleaxed. i'll be very very suprise if he can go 12rounds and pepper canelo with shots all night, that ko is coming for khan and when it does come it ain't going to be pleasant

I think it is a pretty interesting light middle fight between a guy who is too selfish to give up the advantage he gains by being a middle fighting at light middle and a guy who is a welter. Don't know for sure which way it goes, but I suspect Canello grinds him down late on. What I do know is it is a disgrace that they're labelling this as for the world middleweight title.

Something to consider. When the normally faster man is outsped, he tends to tighten up and throw less. Canelo is a hard hitting but patient boxer. He is not a bulldozer type. It will be very interesting. If can can outbox him from the start, his slashing punches could start to accumulate skin damage by the mid rounds. Of course khan can crumple very easily but if he maintains focus for 12 rounds, who knows?

Khan is not getting judges' decision against Canelo in Vegas. No way. He does have a slight chance to win in fans' eyes.

first i was very happy about the match up, cause i like big names boxing each other. but now i think khan is gonne get ridiouled very fast. not so long ago he was losin or gettin kod agaist guys like peterson and garcia. no disrespect to those guys, but they are not on the level of canelo by any mean. canelo hit twice as hard as danny does and danny totaly battered 'no chin khan'. now khan gonne face the strongest puncher of the 154 division, 2 divisions over his natural weight

to me it just sucks that with so many guys close to equaling or surpassing canelos talent like ggg, jacobs, lara, charlo bros, andrade that he choses amir as his ppv event. both big names, but just to much in difference of strength and natural body weight. khan simply no match for canelo. khan wont even do 3 rounds, canelo robbing his fans $

Yes comparing Garcia & Canelo is something very difficult because of Canelo class. So this is clear that Amir khan will face one of the toughest challenges in his career. And from Canelo prospective, he had clear physiological advantage over Amir Khan because of Khan struggling position which we clear see him against Peterson or Garcia.

i really think comparing the minute differences
of their physique is pretty irrelevant. one man
is stronger, the other faster. it is not like the man
with a centimeter more biceps or neck muscle
always wins.
