I enjoyed both, though probably Holyfield best as I felt Mike had ducked him previously.

Even though the Holyfield was a shock KO to most, the Douglas KO literally shook up the world!

Douglas was more emphatic, I enjoyed evander more as I had waited almost a decade to watch him kick Mike's ass. Two one sided fights.

Tyson never ducked Holyfield.Tomasino wrote:I enjoyed both, though probably Holyfield best as I felt Mike had ducked him previously.
Tyson signed to fight Holyfield in 1990 & 1991, but both fights fell through for obvious reasons.

People speculated that rib injury was bogus and holyfield was supposed to get his shot after dokes. King didn't want that fight.Syntax Error wrote:Tyson never ducked Holyfield.Tomasino wrote:I enjoyed both, though probably Holyfield best as I felt Mike had ducked him previously.

I was more shocked by Buster and the way he fought was probably the best performance I'd seen for year's by heavyweight who was the underdog he fought a smart fight and the final blow was a brilliant left hand that landed right on the button and it was devastating.
Re: Douglas or Holyfield? Which one KO you like against Tyson?
Yep the Left sent Mike down. It was that marvelous uppercut a few seconds before that which had him damn near out on his feet. Buster's performance in that fight is arguably the best performance ever by an underdog. Certainly the best ever by THAT big of an underdog.ClivePatrickLyons wrote:I was more shocked by Buster and the way he fought was probably the best performance I'd seen for year's by heavyweight who was the underdog he fought a smart fight and the final blow was a brilliant left hand that landed right on the button and it was devastating.

I agree some people on here seem to forget or just can't understand (probably too young at the time to comprehend) how big a shock it was when Douglas did the impossible knocking out Tyson! incredible performance for someone who was supposed to get blown away in a round and a great great KO, Which I like the best of all Tyson ko losses fantastic.

I'm with you on the moment, even made better by the way you could feel it. I can't say it was any more surprising than Laing/Duran or a few others for me. Hell, Sanchez/Lopez was shocking at the time. Nobody remembers that.tiny_acres wrote:Biggest upset EVER!!!!!!Rexob wrote:I agree some people on here seem to forget or just can't understand (probably too young at the time to comprehend) how big a shock it was when Douglas did the impossible knocking out Tyson! incredible performance for someone who was supposed to get blown away in a round and a great great KO, Which I like the best of all Tyson ko losses fantastic.

I remember both of those. I honestly gave Sanchez zero chance of beating Lopez.SaadOffTheDeck wrote:I'm with you on the moment, even made better by the way you could feel it.
