The stickies

The pinned topics can probably get taken down now.
Particularly the predictor league that hardly gets looked at.

Maybe me and deno should bring the league back, we took over and it went okay for a while the it just dropped off. Deno was in charge I just did a league, I think he had a lot come up. I've got enough time to help bring it back if people want it.

Yeah I'll be able to give a hand until Summer anyway. Probably too late to get a fight list up for this weekend but we could get one up on Sunday for remainder of the month?

Edit: SNG thought it would be an idea to start it back up from April which I agree with as it will give us a longer lead in time and hopefully create a good bit of interest.

At one time we had 4 leagues running with over 40 people entering every month so most of our Sunday's were spent nursing hangovers and toting up scores. We even had monthly prizes at one stage thanks to John and Boxrec so hopefully if we can get it back up and running properly we can get back to those glory days!!

No money involved. We put up a fight list every month and people make their predictions and it's then scored on a league basis. We used to have monthly promotions and relegations between the 4 leagues based on people's scores. John from Boxrec used to sponsor a t-shirt for every monthly or quarterly winner, I can't remember. SNG and I took it over from BIGMARK and The Patriot. They had already laid the ground work and we just kept it going. Shame it fell by the wayside but i just got too busy. Some other guys like Steve Kelly tried to keep it going but there wasn't enough traffic on the boards.
