Dundee Boxing

Post by JamieM »

Great wins over this weekend for Dundee Boxing.

Ronnie Clark on Friday night on the brink of defeat scores a last round stoppage and sets himself up nicely to possibly fight for the British title.

Sat night Iron Mike Towell scores a second round stoppage after being put on the canvass in the first round. Show's that they both can cope with difficult situations. Iron Mike now in position to fight for the British belt also

Great time for this little city

Big middle of the year hopefully

Throw in The View doing the ring walk music and some entertainment and you've got a cracking night there :TU:

I think the Ice Arena would be better. Caird Hall is too small to host a British Title fight.. Problem is would it sell in Dundee.. Hopefully if either or both get a title fight we can take a huge crowd down

Great weekend for Dundee boxing and if you can get the title fights at home then it would be massive.

However I don't think that Warren would allow Skeete or Walsh to travel and defend their titles in Dundee tbh

Nah me neither and id be surprised if Gilmour really tried either, even for Clark or Towell to get a crack at a British title would be a massive achievement

I can't see Walsh staying at British level when world titles come calling he'll be off, Gilmore won't bid but saltire will def try and promote mikey up here

I think Saltire will try but at the end of the day unless Frank wants Skeete to travel then Saltire won't outbid allegedly!
