Re: Bill McMurray RIP
Bill Mc Murray will probably be forever known in the boxing history world as the fighter
who had the RUMBLE IN THE JUNGLE delayed.(giving Muhammad Ali more weeks to get ready and prepare).
when he was sparring with George Foreman
he raised his arms to protect himself and cut Foreman with an elbow.

Re: Bill McMurray RIP
I wonder if he was related to the 90's fighter Keith mcmurray.. They looked similar to me.

Re: Bill McMurray RIP
Interesting how he was working as a sparring partner even 3 years after his last pro fight.Caractacus wrote:Bill Mc Murray will probably be forever known in the boxing history world as the fighter

Is it (or was it) common for pro boxers to keep working as sparring partners after they'd
retired? Or maybe he planned a comeback?

Keith McMurray was Bill's son.evrenb wrote:I wonder if he was related to the 90's fighter Keith mcmurray.. They looked similar to me.
