I went to a comedy gig in which he was performing a few years back and he mentioned his time as a boxer. I looked into it at the time but didn't really find much on him... probably your run of the mill east end amateur boxer.

He was a light-heavy and boxed for West Ham abc he wasn't bad by all accounts.

I saw him working the pads on one of those "im fat and i dont care" programmes and he looked like he had some skills. Good form. I was suprised how fast he moved for such a big, out of shape man.

Zzzum!

Used to love Bulla.

He should make a comeback, was some mileage in that character.

Always thought Bulla was a bit of a star ready to break out. Never quite happened though.

I've seen him in that show with Lee Mack and Tim Vine, he played a drug dealing butcher who's coat Tim takes by accident from a nightclub.

I wasn't aware that Ricky Grover was either comedian or a boxer.

There's a Bulla movie too - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1582196/
I'm sure I've had a look at that on NetFlix but I've never watched it. Didn't realise it was about Bulla.
