100 % of the top 10 p4p boxers dont fight the very best!!!

Post by Chepppaaa »

what the hell is wrong with freaking boxing :brick:  whats wrong with everybody arum, haymon, hbo, showtime :brick:

1. rigondeaux (frampton ducks)

2. ggg (canelo and jacobs stay far far far away from him)

3. kovalev (adonis does the talk, but doesn do the walk)

4. gonzales (no estrada rematch, no inoue fight)

5. ward (fought c level opponents since 3 years  )

6. crawford (makes no push to box postol)

7. inoue (no gonzales fight)

8. lara (no ggg, no canelo remach)

9. canelo (hiding from ggg, hiding from lara, taking on a guy with no chin)

10. lomachenko (no santa cruz ight)

either way, if the best ducks the second best or the second best ducking the #1, all it comes down to is the best not facing each other, only in boxing this shit happens, imagine a super bowl and the broncos saying no to face the patriots or roger federer saying no to face djokovic, only in boxing the best wont face the best.

it realy sucks to be a boxing fan with so many potential megafights gonzales-inoue, kovalev-adonis, ggg-canelo and just nothing happening.

Canelo isn't hiding, they are just building the fight by having another fight first.

How much blame goes on the promotional/legal aspect and how much goes on the fighters themselves? We can't expect every great match up to be made but less and less are happening. I like Inoue, Gonzalez, and Ward the most but it'd be nice to see the first two face each other and Ward to face Kovalev. The best should be fighting the best.

Fury is top 10 P4P and is due to fight Wlad again.

Plus, can you really blame Kov, GGG and Loma? Kov wants to fight Adonis (THE big fight for that division) but Adonis just keeps running. GGG is being blatantly avoided by Canelo, Saunders and Jacobs so has to fight lower boxers and Loma vs Santa Cruz... well considering LSC has made a habit of fighting C-Level fighters his entire career I think it can be safe to say the blame lies with him.

Fury's not Top 10 P4P on any credible list.

If you've ever watched a Fury fight and thought to yourself you were watching one of the 10 most talented boxers in the game I want some of what you're smoking.

It's much easier for a small fighter to look talented than it is for a big fighter.

As long as they make money by keeping the money in house, why would anything change?

But the better question is, how are they making so much money? All I ever see on here is boxing fans saying that they never buy a PPV (including me)...so, it would seem that many if not most boxing fans are not shelling out much of anything for less than interesting fights...what am I missing? Where is the money coming from? I admit I pay for HBO, but that's really it...and I really like boxing.

How this financial model produces so much money kind of baffles me.

I'd be interested to hear your rationale for that one.

Moving 230 lbs about is significantly harder than moving 130 lbs about.
