Wilder planning on how he can possibly get out of this fight. Just like when you are a kid and you are trying to rationalize in your mind how you can get out of a forthcoming punishment from Mom or Dad. 1) Fake an Injury 2) Fake family issues 3) I can't leave the U.S. it's an election year!! 4) I have lost my passport 5) Apollo vs. Ivan Drago gives me recurring nightmares

Maybe. I doubt it. Povetkin could get injured, etc., too. Wilder will not give up his (worthless) belt without a fight as you and many others predicted that he would. I believe that he will fight. I would shade Povetkin for the win if it was happening today.

Wilder is not a coward, as you have repeatedly accused him of being.

Then why did he challenge Hughie Fury and Duhaupas and guys like that instead of Povetkin last year? Why didn't he fight Povetkin straight away? And even if you avoid Povetkin, why not fight someone who got at least a boxrec top 25 rank?

There are no good answers to those questions. Trust me when Tanzio is presented with those questions he only chooses to call you a racist and Anti-American.

I repeat, why didn't he do it last year? Why did he wait till he has absolutely no choice left and even at that point asking for so much unfair advantages that a purse bid was still a more fair option for Povetkin as making a normal boxing deal with Wilder and his team?

Why do you blame Wilder for all of this? It was a failed negotiation. A negotiation involves both sides. When it fails, it is a failure of both sides.

Now, the fight is happening, in Russia, and all that you and others can do is whine. I have been very critical of Wilder over the years. In the end, I believe that his team has done a good job with him. But, if he avoids this fight illegitimately, I will eviscerate him on here.

Up to now it appears that he is not vacating and that he will travel to Russia to put it on the line. He is not a coward.

Because he does not think he can win plain and simple. He wanted to milk his HW title as much and as far as he possibly could until he actually was FORCED to defend it. If he was not forced to defend it here he would keep going on with his bum of the 6 month club and make his excuses why he is not fighting anyone. Hell, why didn't Bruce Seldon think of this?? He could have been a champ for a couple years!!

Wait a minute, you claimed that he would vacate. You claimed that he would not fight Povetkin at all. You claimed that he would never travel to Russia to fight Povetkin. You claim that Wilder is a coward.

How wrong can one person get?

the reason why you repeat is because you are incapable of getting out
of the blocks. the wbc president said povetkin wanted more time and
that is why it didn't happen in 2015. povetkin was offered the fight in
2015 and turned it down. it's not wilder's obligation to role out the red
carpet for this premadonna. povetkin is a ducker who needs someone to
intentionally lose millions investing in his career so he can get knocked
out again in front of his own people instead of where the fight would have
actually made a profit. repeat all you want, tourettes boy.
you'll never learn.

What on earth are you talking about? Povetkin was beggging and praying for Wilder to face him, but Wilder prefered to fight Hughie Fury or Duhaupas instead.

you have no excuse for not knowing what anyone is talking about because you

then look at your reply to that post in that thread

you claimed this fight wouldn't happen this spring.
you have been corrected by someone else with links about the hughie fury thing as well.
if you don't like repeating yourself, then just stop doing it, because it is a waste of everyone's time
and space on this board. learn from your mistakes and move on.

I claimed the fight wouldn't happen this spring? What are you talking about, I actually wrote, in your link "Povetkin and his team said, that's allright, then we'll try to find some other opponend for around september and we'll fight you next year around april." That next year around april is in about a month. Somehow Wilder even managed to delay it even more, so it will probably be even later.

Show me about the Hughie Fury thing? Because as far as I know even that part in your text is a lie.

It's Wilder who's continually delaying fights against Povetkin and continually avoiding Povetkin and trying to find others to fight him instead.

And that was allmost a year ago, in other words, Wilder and his team and some media are talking bullshit, and some retarded people actually fall for it. Wilder and his team just do everything to avoid Povetkin, accusing him from all kind of bullshit and continually delaying everything whenever they can. That's the reason Wilder didn't fight Povetkin way earlier.
