Grigory "Pretty Boy" Drozd

The Russian WBC cruiserweight champ, Drozd, fights a South African called Makabu on April 8th in Moscow. Drozd is 40-1. His only loss was 9 1/2 years ago. Makabu is 19-1. his only loss was his very first fight. 18 of his 19 wins were knockouts. Sounds like a good one.

Really good fight. I personally favour Drozd on points.

I am not convinced about how good both of them are due to limited top level opposition they both fought. Drozd lost to Arslan and he lacks power. Mchunu had a very close fight with B level Kucher.

Very hard to predict which makes this fight interesting.

Too bad, it looked like a good one.

"Too many injuries". Probably because boxers are training much more intensely now than they were in the past.

Drozd seems to be picking up a few niggles to make him quite inactive.
Because of this I actually have Lebedev as my number 1 in the division.
