Same goes to happen with Povetkin. It's easy to jab and grab him. EASY WIN for Wilder.

People on this forum know poo about boxing.

I do not care about resume or perfomances in the past. Each fight is differt and it's all about styles.

Bumvetkin is made for any average tall outside fighters . That's why he never faced any decent taller guy and ducked Fury .

Keep dreaming about Povetkin . He will be exposed the same way as Klitschko.

Potvetkin can hit and Wilder has not fought anyone. Big step up in class.

Fury got knocked down by a cruiserweight Steve Cunninham a Klitschko did not even touched him.

Who has Fury faced before Wladinir? That fat punching bag Chisora?

Small inside fighters are just pathetic against any average tall guy.

Mike Tyson got his ass kicked by Buster Douglas.

Shows how inside fighters are hopeless.

Wilder is not small like Perez oe Takam and he wont fight on inside like those two fat retards
Take me up on my bet then.

It's ok, Farcenix, people with multiple personality disorder are generally unaware of it.
It was ImpracticalMMAjoker and Shitoffthedeck who picked Wilder over Potvetkin not you. I apologize. I get you three mixed up. You 3 are the annoying USA threesome here.

I AM PUTTING ALL MY CHIPS ON THE TABLE IF POTVETKIN WINS BADHUSKER, IMPRACTICALMMAJOKER (IMPRACTICAL POSTER) AND SHITTOFFTHEDECK (SAADOFFTHEDECK) and CONTY22 (just annoying) never show their face here ever again. If Wilder wins I will never show my face here again. There you have it BADHUSKER get those three clowns to go in and we have the bet you wanted.

There it is Tanzio. You happy? Your apology and I have laid down the mantle for an epic boxrec bet!!
Fair enough, but I'm not sure that it is possible for you to lose that bet, Sybil. :maybe:

I do acknowledged, accept, and appreciate your apology though :salut:

Why not? In most cases i am winning . Stiverne was much worse matchup for Wilder because Stiverne is a counter-puncher.

Wilder is younger , faster and and that's a good thing that fight will take place in Russia. Wilder will be motivated and even more active in the ring.

EASY BET ACEPTED.

Povetkin will try to come forward and that's going to happen. Povetkin has shorter reach than Stiverne . He won't be able to land some good punch on Wilder's chin. TOOOOO SMAAAAAAAAAAAALL BUMVETKIN

Nah im not that dumbass wannabie boxing expert Lance . I've even predicted Browne beating that another Russian bum Chagaev. Many of wannabie boxing experts picked easy win for Chagaev and Lance was one of them. As i said im never wrong. I pick only fights where i am 100% confident .

I would not pick some small Russian bum over Wilder or any taller guy with a decent speed.

It's funny that this is now a topic here considering how there was this one Eurocentric piece of poo here spouting off nonsense of how no American is willing to face any European fighter and now we have Wilder not only facing his mandatory but going over the water to do so in the man's own backyard.

I hope it is a great fight and not a boring waltz like Klits vs Farty.

1 of 2 things are going to happen. Wilder will box like he did against Stivern and not allow Povetkin to get off any of his offense, or I see Povetkin trying to close distance of thing careless and Wilder will knock him out. Povetkin isn't winning this fight.

On paper everything favours Povetkin.
People talk about Wilder staying outside and using his jab, but he just doesn't have Wlad's jab and grab skills -- and he wont be given any leeway as a the 'away' fighter. Add to that the fact Povetkin has some boxing skills and will not be as hideously out of shape as Stiverne and I just don't see it as a winning tactic.
Same goes for knocking out Povetkin. Of course most HW's always have the proverbial punchers chance, but head hunting against Molina, Szpilka and Duhaupas it took Wilder 9, 9, and 11 rounds respectively to find a KO punch. And he got pretty solidly buzzed by Molina along the way. If they stand and trade odds are Povetkin lands something telling way before round 9.
For my money it's an 80/20 fight in Povetkin's favour. The only thing Wilder has going for him is Povetkin's age and his mileage.

I'm picking Povetkin, but this is a best man wins kind of fight for me. It'll be fun to finally see Wilder in with a top level guy, and good to see Povetkin get a shot at a title against someone who won't grab him every two seconds.

Aren't they all?
No. I don't have a preference who wins in this fight, which is rare for me.

I'm picking Wilder to stop Povetkin & retain his title as well.
But, I disagree with your assertion that "Povetkin & Klitschko faced only small fighters their whole career". That's not an accurate statement at all sir.
Klitschko faces about two dozen fighters that were 6'3" plus, just as an example, David Bostice 6'5", Davarryl Williamson 6'4", Ray Austin 6'6", Jameel McCline 6'7", Tony Thompson 6'5" (twice), Mariusz Wach 6'7" & Pulev 6'4". Hardly the record of a fighter that "faced only small fighters".
As for Povetkin, he's also faces several fighters that were/are 6'3" plus like Klitschko, both Bostice 6'5" & Wach 6'7" as well as Patrice L'Heureux 6'5", Nicolai Firtha 6'5", Andzej Wawrzyk 6'5", Manuel Charr 6'4" & of course, Klitschko 6'6". Again, a far cry from someone who avoided taller/bigger opponents as you suggest.
Just felt that the record should be set straight.
I'm not saying that all the big men that Klitschko & Povetkin were world beaters by any means, but some were better than average heavyweights who could use their size well.
