Will Sergey Kovalev remain inactive until he fights Andre Ward?

Apparently all of Sergey Kovalev's fights must be approved by HBO.

Does this mean he'll be inactive until he fights Ward in November (or perhaps later in early 2017)?

He was inactive during the second half of 2015. I know he prefers to fight 3-4 times per year.

I don't believe TV Networks with all their own politics should be behaving as promoters/managers.

Also Adonis Stevenson has been inactive for a while. There were rumors of a Fonfara fight for him, but that's not going to happen.

Seems Kovalev should be fighting Stevenson. I believe they both want to fight, but Showtime and HBO's stupid politics is blocking the way.

I don't think there will be two more fights before Ward, but there should be one more, no doubt.

Usually there would at least be a rumor of a fight by now.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not expecting him to fight every two months.

But I'd like to see him in there every four months (three times a year), and there should be something in the works by now.

Yes he will have a fight before ward.

He's at a standard were there's very few that will cause him any trouble.
