Ward is already in Kovalev's Head

Post by bnovelist »

Why is everyone overlooking the fact that Kovalev is scared sh@tless at the fact of facing Ward? Maybe he gets a pass because he's been so active

so the fans are much more forgiving and willing to overlook but man I swear EVERY interview when asked about Ward he doesn't sound excited

at ALL none whatsoever! Ward is a badman to have both GGG and Kovalev showing very little interest in facing him. Kovalev is no hurry to face

Andre Ward it would have to be one of those HBO forced deals. Ward has won the mental warfare already WAAAY before the fights even signed.

When they ask Ward about Kovalev he doesn't sound the most excited but not scared either, like his wife asking him to cut their large backyard

if he has to he will but would rather pay the local landscapers. More of a sense like Kovalev is some work but if that's the money fight then he will

cut that large backyard  KOVALEV sounds outright uninterested trying his best to hide the fact that he wants none of Andre!

This will be actually one of Wards easiest fights in the end Froch will have put up much more of a fight. Major dissapointment soon to come for

Kovalev fans :OhYes: This will be one boring ass one sided boxing match with Kovalev hitting all shoulder because of Andre's positioning. I can see

already wanting to puke by the 5th round scratching my head at Kovalev's output. Stevenson will pull a Mayweather letting someone else eliminate

He is not excited for the fight because he does not actually think that the fight will ever happen. He has seen this all before and guys chicken out before they fight him. Stevenson and Ward are all games to him. He is like me he will believe it once Ward steps into the ring. Kovalev knows ward does not want him and in the end will find a way to back out of the fight. I still think Ward's upcoming fight will tell us a lot and I have a feeling Ward will not look like he can beat Kovalev after we watch that fight.

We all know Fraud is going to duck him anyway.

Just like he ran away with his tail between his legs when Bute appeared on the horizon. I think he spouted feathers and grew a beak after that one.

Ward is totally scared of Bute, bro! The dude who got flattened by Froch inside 4 rounds.

Kovalev's main goal seems to be to unify the Light Heavyweight Title. It's pretty clear the fight he wants is Adonis Stevenson. Andre Ward is the fight HBO wants.

Either would be a big win for Kovalev.

I enjoy reading you, Bnov. Your posts are like some guy on the side of the road fixing a tire that causes traffic on my way to work in the morning. I know it's just a guy changing a tire but i slow down and look when i get up to it too. But you've been called a troll before with these sort of posts. I'd never call you that but boy you are flirting with that label with this one perhaps. Kovalev and GGG are walking amongst bones right now. They are slayers who's heart rate doesn't rise with the mention of another man especially a guy who is coming up in weight after showing inactivity that clearly demonstrates that his heart is no longer in this thing. Not to mention how unreliable Ward has been with commitments in recent years.

I saw an interview a few months ago where Kovalev showed his hand with the Ward fight. He clearly verbalized the plan was to let this fight marinate and fight Ward within two years. Everyone now thinks that if they wait 5 years to fight someone they can make the kind of money Floyd and Manny did. So sit back, it's going to be a while.

Hopefully, Ward isn't. We all know how opponents trying to play mind games with Kovalev end up. Look at what happened to Pascal and Hopkins. It didn't go good for either fighter, and Pascal was viciously tortured on live TV.

I can't see where or how Kova would be afraid of Ward, it isn't like Andre is out there one punch KOing his competition. So I 100% disagree with you that Kov is scared of him, it actually seemed to me as though he answered that question so matter-of-factly that he thought the fact that he wasn't much of a challenge at all which is why he felt Adonis was and called him out.

Sorry Bnov, you failed on this one.
