I personally like Eddie, I think he has put boxing back on the map in the UK - more and more people are talking about boxing now, which I guess is a good thing and a bad thing - the casual boxing fans that think they know it all do irritate me a bit I have to admit, however, with more people talking about boxing creates a 'public demand' for big fights and Eddie does seem to make them happen - I don't believe not making Brook v Khan is completely his fault.
Every time I have been to a Matchroom event I have enjoyed it much more compared to other events. He isn't afraid in saying it how it is and explaining the truth to the fans - he openly admits if a fight he has made has not lived up to expectations, and I do enjoy the interviews he participates in, he does have good banter haha!
The things I'm not a huge fan of is, when he down talks other promoters and they ability to sell tickets or produce a good show. He has propelled Anthony Joshua onto the Box Office stage already (but according to the numbers, people will pay the fee to watch him.) - I personally don't think Joshua v Whyte for the British title is worthy for Box Office - bad blood between the pair or not.

Re: Eddie Hearn
Depends. When he's in spin mode he's unbearable and cringe worthy.
If he's in a honest mood he's sensible and rather intelligent.
He's got the fighters good money, got good fights at the right time but he's undoubtedly ripped off tv fans via lack of normal quality shows against the amount of PPVS.
Also live fans he's ripped off with his stubhub con.
