What most people think is irrelevant. Most people thought Fury would get knocked out by Wlad.Horse wrote:Most people don't think that Joshua will beat Fury easily, because he won't.Boxerbeetle wrote:Personally I don't know why people would think Hearn wouldn't want to put Joshua in with Fury. Joshua beats Fury relatively easily imo. Fury doesn't even have the power to score a one-shot ko like Wilder or Haye would.
Hearn doesn't think that Joshua will beat him easily either.
Re: Eddie Hearn: "This November is a possibility for Fury-Joshua"
Why do you assume that Hearn has the same opinion as you? You think that Joshua beats Fury easily, but it is unlikely that Hearn does.Boxerbeetle wrote:What most people think is irrelevant. Most people thought Fury would get knocked out by Wlad.
Joshua is unproven at world level and could easily come a cropper when he steps up.
His chin doesn't seem great and nor does his stamina. His temperament also seems very questionable, he could well get himself disqualified at some point.
Re: Eddie Hearn: "This November is a possibility for Fury-Joshua"
All these things could have been said (possibly were said) regarding Fury, still won the world title though.Horse wrote:His chin doesn't seem great and nor does his stamina. His temperament also seems very questionable, he could well get himself disqualified at some point.
Are you stuck in 1950 or something?Horse wrote:Easily come a cropper

I'm hip. I'm with it.Offal wrote:Are you stuck in 1950 or something?
I'm pretty sure the phrase 'come a cropper' is still used by the kids and rap stars of the current age.

The last person to use that expression was Deryck Guyler.Horse wrote:I'm pretty sure the phrase 'come a cropper' is still used by the kids and rap stars of the current age.

Why wouldn't he? Huge money, tons of belts and a very beatable champion. I'd bet big on Joshua in that fight.tiny_acres wrote:I hope he does want to make the fight.keithmoonhangover wrote:Hahaha. Re: Eddie Hearn: "This November is a possibility for Fury-Joshua"
In reality, Fury has proven more in the ring than both Joshua and Wilder. The disrespect he mindlessly gets is kinda funny, but clearly hypocritical. He should fight Joshua now, and turn his ass into the next David Price. Now that would be hilarious.

I like fury, he is just coming out of a woeful performance. He fought smart, but would need to do much more against any of the top guys.
Re: Eddie Hearn: "This November is a possibility for Fury-Joshua"
...Joshua is an Olympic Champ, 2.5 years in paid ranks...should be ready by now to fight anyone including the top guy...not to forget that Fury was an underdog in the last fight, he/his team chose the right strategy and rightfully won...didn't change my opinion though that Fury was and is beatable...

"Keyboard warrior"? Laughable comment.
What a state for this thread to get into within half a page.

Well he's fighting for a strap.dberry wrote:Joshua fought his way up to an elite amateur and is 15-0 as a pro, at what point does he stop being referred to as a novice and it bing considered "too soon" for him to step up?
His problem isn't so much how many fights he's had but the lack of rounds. So far on Whyte has hit him with a couple of shots (and he looked shook up).
Petsonally i think Wilder and AJ are in the same boat. There comes a point an elite operator with a chin makes them look like 1trick ponies and takes them out. Just my hunch.

I can't see it happening in November, it's to big and would require a huge outdoor arena in Summer.
Re: Eddie Hearn: "This November is a possibility for Fury-Joshua"
Non of us know what Hearn is thinking, I hope Joshua wins but it is not a forgone conclusion - it seems Martin will be coming to win I've only seen his last bout and he didn't seem all that good but Joshua hasn't faced very tough opposition to prepare him.
A Joshua v Tyson bout would be very big, a money spinner, on PPV of course and though I think Fury would win it only takes a single slip up and he could be hit very hard. I'm not convinced Wlad will box again, his heart didn't seem in it last time out.

Re: Eddie Hearn: "This November is a possibility for Fury-Joshua"
I think Eddie genuinely believes AJ can beat anyone so maybe he will make the fight sooner than expected, surly it would have to be in summer though? It could potentially be the biggest UK fight of all time.
Re: Eddie Hearn: "This November is a possibility for Fury-Joshua"
I went out on a limb and picked Martin to upset Joshua in PTBF. Call me crazy but just a hunch....had a dream Joshua got KO'd inside of 10. Premonition? I think Joshua has great potential but Martin just seems the faster more accurate guy, southpaw with quick combos, with better stamina.
If I'm wrong, oh well.
If I'm right? Fury - Martin?

Re: Eddie Hearn: "This November is a possibility for Fury-Joshua"
TBH I hope either of them fights the winner of Wilder/Povetkin first, otherwise Wilder/Povetkin will probably fight Lucas Browne, and after that Wilder/Povetkin only needs a hell of a lot of luck to unify all belts, without even being a real top 5 boxer.
Re: Eddie Hearn: "This November is a possibility for Fury-Joshua"
Win lose or draw Joshua is in a great position
He would still sell out to O2 no matter the result of his world title fight
