Disgusting behaviour of the sky reporters and their team at boxing events

Just a observation.
At a event I attended last year the sky team were constantly stood up blocking the view of the fight and talking through the fight the also at the end of the event were packing up during the last fight and stood talking to the cameras the whole way through the fight. I thought that this was disrespectful not only to the fans that had paid to see the fight but also to the fighters in the ring fighting. Anyone else come across this

End of the event stuff is pretty normal, unfortunately, at least in my experience. I have even seen them turn off half of the lights over the ring in the middle of the last fight in the middle of a round (presumably so they cool down quicker so they can take down quicker at the end of the fight) and had to ask them "politely" to turn them back on. While I sympathise with them wanting to take down quickly, I don't if it risks boxer safety.

Yeah that kind of stuff is pretty common where there's a float fight or no televised fight after the main event. Not on if they are obstructing peoples views though.

Its not just just Sky to be fair though, I was once at a B-allegedly show where the started packing up after the main event during a fight. They turned the tv stuff off and packed away but also (by accident I presume) turned the house mic off. The announcer had to shout the result of the last fight out.

Don't think yours needed too pal I was just pointing that out because the original poster mentioned them specifically.

Agree re the lighting thats not on anything that effects the views of paying public or (more importantly) the fighters themselves should be left till after.

Agree - and if one fighter had chinned the other when the other was distracted by it suddenly becoming a whole lot darker, that would likely be a no-contest and a possible legal action if the fighter who had got knocked out was permanently hurt. Risky stuff on the TV company's part.

Another observation on sky is recently they've employed there own security, about 4 skinny guys standing there doing fornicate all. What a waste of money.

Adam and Johnny are such stars now I'm glad they have beefed up their security detail.
