Jamie McDonnell and Scott Quigg VERY high in my opinion, the former lost to Kameda in my opinion and should be just outside the top 10, while the latter top5 British P4P?? Fury,Selby,Lee and Murray all of them should be above him, they all have FAR superior resume as the only good win of his career is Martinez who was already dominated twice by Frampton. Quigg VERY VERY overrated.

Your opinion is simply wrong. BoxRec's ratings are frequently awful and seem to have a bias towards British fighters.

Beating a bunch of domestic level also-rans doesn't make you a top 10 world ranked boxer.

Disagree with Gomez since he lost to Journeyman Darnell Wilson (Shame seeing him become one, liked him when he had ambition) the only decent win he had was when that unbeaten Croat got injured in the first few rounds.
The problem with Ovill that makes him hard to judge would be that since his recent vast improvement ( a sentiment I'd like to know if you agree on) he seems to be unable to get a fight at Euro level (which is as close to world level as any other division due to quality euro operators)
The cruiserweight division is talent filled but to many operators not facing each other in recent times.
Since Bellew last fought Ovill I reckon Bellew has peaked slightly were as Ovill has improved vastly. This would be a fight that people would say Bellew due to the facts on paper but personally I'd fancy Ovill. Bellew looks to me like he can be out worked easily now.

Since he has recently struggled with Askin, I'd question the extent of his improvement.

Bellew would win again. He is a better fighter.

I like Ovill but I think he's well off being a world class cruiser and in my view it's a stretch just to have him in the top 10. His BoxRec ranking is hugely inflated and I suspect that he'd lose to nearly everyone on the first page of the CW rankings.

The BoxRec rankings at cruiserweight are horrendous. Huck at No. 13, Arslan at No. 12 etc.

I'd put Selby above Fury and Groves.
Fury has yet to fight at World level and Groves has twice and lost both times.
Selby has a belt and although a world title isn't the be all and end all, he looked every bit the world class operator in his bout.
After Groves and Fury fight their upcoming bouts I may change my stance, but for the moment I feel Selby has earned the right to be considered among the very best British fighters just now.
And this is coming from someone who thought Selby was all show and wouldn't make it at the top level. I'm pleased to admit I'm wrong and my opinion of Lee has changed drastically over his last 2 bouts

I can't fathom how Stuart Hall and Paul Smith rank so highly, perhaps it stick in my craw that both men have been given repeated undeserved chances and proven time and again, with out doubt to be quite comfortably below world level.

He got one chance against Vusi Malinga for a vacant belt who was ranked something like 45th in the world.
Despite not winning the belt from a recognised champion he went on to face a man ranked 5th in Britain in the bantamweight division in a fight I'd be dissapointed to see contest the Lonsdale belt and achieved a spectacular draw
He then lost the belt to a 15 fight Super flyweight
He then got his second shot at a vacant title against Caballero and lost

Which makes him 1-2-1 in world title fights having challenged for a title twice (never against a champion) and twice defended it against weak domestic opposition

After his recent impressive win over highly ranked Edwin Tellez (9-18-5) he was linked with another shot at a title, which thankfully never materialised

Davie the draw was due to a cut stopping the fight within three rounds but should have been a non fight, caballero was punching gloves for most of the fight and didn't fight for a year after and as for butler he also spent most of the fight punching gloves and running away next time try going to the fight to see what stuart can do
